overtime po ba kapag holiday dito sa korea? ilang percent po ang rate?

hello kabayan,
If you work on Sundays and all Korea national holidays, overtime po lahat yan. And you should get an additional 50% of your basic hourly salary.

One more thing, if your employer has a total of 20 and above legal workers, yung Saturday work nyo ay overtime din po and you you should also get additional 50% of your basic hourly salary.

Whereas, if your employer has less than 20 legal workers only, yung 4-hrs work nyo during Saturdays ay hindi po overtime bu working beyond that is already an overtime.

If you work in nightshift naman from 10:00PM to 6:00 AM, you should also get another 50% of your basic hourly salary.

ganun ba kabayAn!! hindi kami binabayaran ng ot kapag national holiday sa korea. tapos simula nung pumasok kmi dito sa kumpanya 7:oo ng umaga pinapasok na kami kahit 730 ang time namin tapos 430pm pa kmi pinalalabas.araw araw may sobra kaming kalahating oras .nireklamo na namin sa opisina pero ang sabi sa amin hindi raw overtime.bale magto two years na kami sa june 12 2009 . lampas kami ng 20 katao dito sa kumpanya pero hindi rin ot ang sabado. pero ang basic namin ay 900t won . ano po kaya ang dapat naming gawin?

if that's the case, it is very clear na may violation po ang employer nyo sa Korean labor law... if willing po kayo magreklamo, please contact Mr. Reeve Recana (010-8688-2059) para ma-irefer kayo sa PKCH free legal services...
