1. Departure Guarantee Insurance(employers) :
ㅇ This is an insurance an employer who hires a foreign worker must take
out within 15 days of the effective date of the labor contract to secure retirement pay for the foreign worker. An employer who has joined departure guarantee insurance is deemed to have set up the retirement pay scheme under the Employee Retirement
Benefit Security Act.
2. Wage Payment Guarantee Insurance(employers)
ㅇ An employer must take out this insurance within 15 days of the effective date of a labor contract to insure his/her foreign worker against overdue wages. Any employer to whom the Wage Claim Guarantee Act does not apply or who has less than 300 workers is required to subscribe the insurance.
3. Return Cost Insurance(foreign workers)
ㅇ This insurance should be taken out by a foreign worker within 60 days of the effective date of his/her labor contract to set aside money to cover the costs of returning to his/her home country.
4. Casualty insurance(foreign workers)
ㅇ A foreign worker should take out this insurance within 15 days of the effective
date of his/her labor contract to insure him/herself against injuries or diseases other than those caused by occupational accidents.

5. Others
ㅇ Foreign worker, like native Korean workers, can be covered by the four social insurances(health insurance, national pension, employment insurance & industrial accident compensation insurance). However, according to the principle of reciprocity,
foreign workers are excluded from the coverage of Korea’s national pension system if their home country’s law does not allow Korean nationals to be covered by its national pension scheme. And employment insurance is taken out on a voluntary
basis.

maam adviser magandang araw po... ako po ay may katanong tungkol po sa topic nyo ngayon.. ang tanong ko po maam..

lahat ba ng employer ay required or obligado ba na mag bayad ng departure guerantee insurance?

may listing po ba ng mga employer na obligado mag bayad ng insurance na yan?

pano kong di naka abot ng 300 daan ang mga worker? anong mangyayari sa amin?

kasi kami po dito 6 lang po kami nag tatatrabho dito.
pano kong di talag nag abail ang employer ng departure gueratee insurance?

pasensya na po kong marami akong tanong...kasi gusto ko lang po maliwanagan ang akong isipan tungkol po sa insurance..

maraming salamat po sa pakikipagtalastasan sa akin

Hello po Ms Gennie :-) my gusto lang po ako itanong regarding sa situation ng husband ko na ngwowork jan. Mag 4 years na siya on October this year. Ang problema hindi daw hinulugan ng employer ung kookmin nila. Pag hindi po hinulugan yun wala po ba sila makukuha after ng contract nila? Thanks. God bless you :-)

ma'am kim is it true na wala na yung kaltas na 400,000 korean won sa amin.dumating ako dito nov.23..yung fare po yata yun pag exit ng korea..?

hi mam bkit po 60 days n lng yung palugit para mabayaran yung 400,000 kasi ang s training center sabi sa amin 90 days o 3 months simula ng entry date mo? pano po yun..kasi iba bangko namin so hinulugan ko na lang yung ibk..ayaw kasi ng amo ko na kaltasan ako..ako n lang daw magbayad..and pano ko malalaman kung nagbayad yung employer ko nung 2 insurance?

kabayan,share ko lang yung experience ko. dun sa insurance na return cost guaranteed insurance, ipinasok ko sa keb.. actually, pagkabalik ko for second sojourn, hindi ko ininform ng samsung tungkol dito hanggang sa ako mismo yung tumawag.may pinoy po ditong empleyado sa samsung insurance. binayaran ko yung 400k kasama yung accident insurance, kc iba pala yung first sojourn ko na binayaran noon . nakaindicate naman ito sa passbook mo. if yung amo mo mismo ang naghulog o nagkaltas, iverify mo sa samsung insurance office.

nag transfer na ako kabayan ng 400k won sa account ko sa ibk.....kaya lng nagulat ako 60 days eh ang alam ko kasi 90 day fron the date of entry..baka kako may penalty pa yun kung lumagpas sa taning...
