3 + 2 YEARS CONTRACT

Good Day Sulyapinoy,

I am thankful for the reply on my last post.

My co workers here were asking about the 3+2 years contract scheme.

When will be the effectivity date of these new scheme? Is it applicable for those who will finished their contract before the year 2009.

Kabayan,

Please tell your co-workers na yung 5-years sojourn period ay hindi pa po implemented. Need pa yan i-ratify sa Parliament of Korea through National Assembly before implementation.

Please keep posted nalang in our website for any latest updates about this new bill...

EPS 1st batch po ako.Natapos ko na ang 3 years period of sojourn noong august 2007 & pinabalik me after 2 months for another 2 years extension.Next year tpos ko n ang contract ko.Asko ko lng kung meron pa ulit another extension or it depends sa employer or sa policy dito sa korea.

actually hindi po extention ang tawag dyan... yung pagbalik mo ay yun ang tinatawag natin na "re-hire" and hindi lang po 2-years yan... your new sojourn is valid for 3-years... but let's wait until the new bill which allows an EPS worker to work in Korea for 5 consecutive years is approved expected next year... becausei if ma-implement na yan, you still have 5-years of stay in Korea na pweding hindi uuwi.

may possibility po na straight na kayo to 5-yrs but we still not sure about that because as i have said, wala pa pong detailed announcement about this from the labor office at hindi pa po approved ang new bill na ito. just keep updated in this website for latest updates soon...

magandang araw po!4 years na ako dito nung april,ibig sabihin 8 months na lang ako at matatapos na ang 5 years ko ,halimbawang magpaparelease ako ngayon gaano kalaki ang posibilidad na makakuha pa ako ng ibang trabaho samantalang 8 months na lng ako dito?...maraming salamat po!

depende po kung may kukuha pa sayo, kasi mostly na kinukha ng mga employer ngayon atleast may isang taon pang natitira..

3+2 or 3+3? nakakalito. to whom it may concern ano po ba ang totoo. meron daw kc na first batch na gusto i renew ng employer nya this August for 1yr going to 6 yrs na sya kaso ayaw na raw ng immigration.3+2 lng daw pero bkit po ako hangang May 2010 pa visa ko, 2nd batch po ako ng eps. Oct 2004 po kmi dumating then 2007 sept ako umuwi. Nov 2007 me nkablik april 2008 nagparelis ako May 2008 nkalipat me d2 sa present employer ko ne renew alien card ko ng 1yr so hangang May 2009 after that ni renew ako ng 1yr ulit so hangang May 2010 ako d2. bkit po ang 1st batch ayaw na ng immigration? Is it possible?

Or dito po sa amin, ating napag alaman na hindi pa po na- approve sa National Assembly ng Korea ang panukalang batas na straight 5 years?

Status Quo po tayo, ibig sabihin pag natpos mo na 3 yrs at na REHIRED kayo 3 yrs. pa ulit at kung ma approve na ang panukalang batas duon natin malalaman ang buong detalye at buong katotothanan.

sir reeve tnx a lot sa advice po sa 22o lng po tlga madami nali2to jan sa pag rehired ka plus 3 ulit lgi ko na nga pinamamalita na 3yrs kz un mga nba2sa ko d2 pro sa experince po nun isang fren ng asawa ko patapos na yun 2years nya(rehired) tapos po pumunta cla sa goyong pra iextend ulit ng 1yr sbi nun sa goyong dun sa amo 2years lng daw pauuwiin na daw un guy ayun ngaun tnt na kz nagtanong din sa immigration un amo sbi din pauuwiin na nga daw....kya un iba nag aaalala kz matatapos na din 2years nla pro expected po nla 3years tlga...enk u po!god bless!!!!!

Nowadays a few foreign workers asked the same question regarding to the sojourn period of reemployment after completion of the first 3 years.

So we inform you of the sojourn period of reemployment after completion of the first 3 years under the current EPS as follows:

Under the current EPS, a reemployed foreign worker who completed the first 3 years can be allowed to work for another 3 years.

However, the revised bill to cut the sojourn period from the total 6 years to the total 5 years is pending at the National Assembly. The bill has not yet passed. We guess that this makes the a few persons concerned confused.

If the relevant bill is passed, we will notify you of the fact on this bulletin board, FAQ

Totoo ang sinabi mo dahil isa sa SULYAPINOY Board of Publication member namin na si sir Noel Joseph Alvarez ay hindi rin sya ni renew ng Labor at Immigration kaya pumunta ako sa Phil. Embassy, particularly sa Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) headed by our very active and supportive Labor Attache' Atty. Delmer Cruz upang ipaalam sa kanila ang ating problma at kahapon August 28, 2009 ay nag meeting sila with Human Resources Development Service of Korea(HRDS-Korea) personnel . Masayang binalita ni Atty. Cruz na meron na tau copy both english and Korean version of the three(3) yrs. SOJOURN.

i just want to find an answer about this...
i have a friend a dating agency galing pero nong 2007 binago ang visa nila as E-9 visa so EPS n cla...but the problem is 2yrs n cya s september so yong amo nya dinala n yong ARC nya sa immigration to renew for another 1yr pero d n inallow ng immigration.is this possible? o meron pb silang pwedeng gawin pra mkapag stay p for another 1yr,may mga susunod p kc sa kanya n nasa company nila same case din pero nxt year p...

ms. marianne the answer to ur question is right here in front of you pls read the document posted by sir reeve (above) if u hve a printer it'll be better if ur going to have it printed and show it to ur friends boss. it is clearly said in the document that the sojourn period of rehired EPS worker or those holding an E9 visa is 3 yrs.

kaunting advice lang po sa mga nalilito,,bago po tayo mag pa confused, or malito at maniwala sa isang balita better paki confirm muna po natin mabuti at i double check ito,,ang sistema kase marami nagbibigay na impormasyon na nagkakamali but then pag narinig pu natin un once ,,we shud ask for 2nd opinion at the ryt right person,,like embassy or our legal attache at the embassy..

sa madaling salita po it is 3+3=6 years contract..

salamat po sa pag share ng info about 3 years,minsan kase alam nila 3 years ung iba magcomment 2 years kaya pati nakakalam ng 3 years babalikan ung issueng 2 years... dAHIL SA PAGKALITO
