Notice regarding sojourn period after reemployment under the EPS

Dear Foreign workers under the EPS,This is the National Labor Consultation Center.

Nowadays a few foreign workers asked the same question regarding to the sojourn period of reemployment after completion of the first 3 years.

So we inform you of the sojourn period of reemployment after completion of the first 3 years under the current EPS as follows:

Under the current EPS, a reemployed foreign worker who completed the first 3 years can be allowed to work for another 3 years.

However, the revised bill to cut the sojourn period from the total 6 years to the total 5 years is pending at the National Assembly. The bill has not yet passed. We guess that this makes the a few persons concerned confused.

If the relevant bill is passed, we will notify you of the fact on this bulletin board, FAQ
