MAHALAGANG PAUNAWA HINGGIL SA EMPLOYMENT PERMIT SYSTEM (EPS) KOREA
1. Ang lahat ng mga nagnanais mag apply sa EPS Korea ay kinakailangang magparehistro muna sa POEA.
2. Ang lahat ng tanggapan ng POEA sa buong kapuluan ay bukas para sa nasabing pagpaparehistro na WALANG BAYAD!
3. Iyong mga nakarehistro lamang sa POEA ang maaaring kumuha ng Korean Language Test (KLT).
4. Ang quota at iskedyul ng pagpaparehistro sa KLT, at araw at oras ng KLT, ay itinatakda ng Ministry of Labor ng Korea – hindi ang POEA and nagtatakda nito.
5. Ang POEA ay hindi tumatanggap ng bayad para sa KLT fee. Ang KLT fee ay personal na binabayaran ng aplikante sa bank account ng awtorisadong Korean test agecy, ang International Korean Language Foundation (IKLF) sa LandBank.
6. Ang resulta ng KLT ay lumalabas 3 linggo mula sa bigayan ng test.
7. Walang kinalaman ang POEA sa resulta ng KLT, at lalong walang kakayahan ito para mabago ang test scores.
8. Yaong mga nakapasa lamang sa KLT, na bibigyan ng endorsement ng POEA, ang kailangang magpa medical. Ang pagpapa medical BAGO mag KLT ay walang silbe lalo na kung hindi pumasa ang aplikante sa test; o kung pumasa man, expired na ang medical certificate dahil sa limitadong bisa nito na 3 buwan lamang.
9. Ang mga profile ng mga nakapasa sa KLT at medical examination ay pinapadala via electronic transfer sa Job Seekers Roster ng Human Resources Development Service (HRD) Korea ng Ministry of Labor ng Korea.
10. Ang nasabing Roster ang tinitingnan ng mga Koreanong employer para mamili ng mga aplikanteng kinakailangan nila.
11. Walang kinalaman ang POEA sa desisyon ng employer sa pagpili ng aplikante. Wala ring kakayahan ang POEA, o sino mang opisyal at kawani nito, na pumili o magrekomenda ng aplikante sa
mga employer. At lalong wala itong kakayahan na palitan ang mga napili ng mga aplikante ng mga employer.
12. Ang nga sumusunod na dati ng nakapagtrabaho na sa Korea ay pinapayuhang huwag nang makipagsalarang gumastos pa at sumubok na mag-apply pang muli para sa Korea:
a. may record of illegal stay sa Korean Immigration Service
b. hindi nakatapos ng kontrata bilang industrial trainee
13. May mga aplikante na napili na subali’t di mabigyan ng visa gawa ng mga sumusunod na kadahilanan:
a. ang employer ay nadiskubreng me record ng employment of illegal workers;
b. ang employer ay nagkansela ng kontrata dahil sa problemang financial o pamamahala ;
c. ang kompanyang papasukan ay nadiskubreng hindi legal ang katayuan ;
d. ang employer ay lumampas na sa takdang bilang ng foreign
workforce na maaari niyang kunin ;
e. kulang pa sa tinakdang anim (6) na buwan mula ng makabalik ang worker mula sa Korea. Ayon sa patakaran ng Korea, iyon lamang mga workers na nakapagtrabaho ng tatlong (3) taon sa Korea at nabigyan ng dating employer ng re-employment certificate at Certificate of Confirmation of Visa Issuance (CCVI) ang maaaring makabalik sa Korea pagkatapos ng isang (1) buwan.Sa mga sitwasyong nabanggit, pinapayuhan ang mga aplikante o worker na maghintay lamang hanggang sa sila ay muling mapili sa Roster at magkaroon ng bagong employer. Ibinabalik ng HRD Korea ang kanilang pangalan sa Jobseekers Roster.
14. Mahigpit na pinapaalalahanan ang nga EPS Korea applicants na walang AHENTE o THIRD PARTY na kinikilala ang POEA sa aplikasyon at pagpoproseso ng mga dokumento ng mga aplikante sa ilalim ng programang EPS Korea. Ang lahat ng transakyon ay personal na ugnayan ng POEA at ng aplikante.

Our Company is interested of having new employees from the Philippines however my attention was called on by our HR department late yesterday and told me that they are not receiving any CV's from the HR korea who happens to implement the EPS scheme. Any idea why?
I also would like to find out ways on how to acquire new employees form the Philippines. I am familiar with the EPS method but is there any other chance of acquiring new employees other than the EPS procedures.
I heard the that the direct hiring scheme in our country was lifted. Is there any more updates?

what kind of job does your company is hiring? if skilled job such IT, Engineering, Research, and other profesional jobs... maybe that's the reason why your company doesn't hire EPS workers... because EPS (E9 Visa) has designated applicable jobs to work for... such as Manufacturing Industry, Construction Industry, Agriculture and Stockbreeding (Farm Products Cultivation, Stockbreeding), Fishing Industry, Service Industry (Refrigerated Warehousing, Restaurants, Business Support Service, Social Welfare, Sewage Disposal, General Repair Services of Motor Vehicles, Nursing, Household Service etc.)...

where did you hear this news? i am an E7 visa and i never heard that direct hiring for South Korea is banned... there was a policy implemented by POEA in the mid of January this year in which the employer will pay around $8,000 to POEA before the employer can directly hire Filipino jobseekers but it was suspended after one month of its implementation due to huge criticism and protests from OFWs around the world... so, there's no reason that your employer cannot hire directly if it want now...

Actually, I heard from a friend who is also applying for a possible job here in Korea under the EPS program, that the EPS for Korea will be active again by June this year which he said is according to the POEA. I don't have any knowledge about the truth regarding the issue.
Furthermore, can you also give me some ideas about E7 visa with regards to how much would it usually cost for both employer and employee? About the procedures, Do we need to find a host agency to facilitate the employment procedures? Lastly, how long does it take for our company to acquire new employees under the E7 visa?
Our Company is also looking for a full time / part time computer programmers.

Our company has same experience with yours. We also need 8 EPS worker from Phils 3months ago but unfortunately, there's no available Pinoy EPS in the Hiring List. I think there's some problem between Phil-Korea EPS system. So instead of hiring Pinoy, we hired Sri Lankan workers but after there 3 months of work here, they asked release paper to transfer to other company so we released them. Now we need again 8 Pinoy workers but we can not get Pinoy workers in the Hiring list so our management hired Korean workers from agency.
Anyway, I am also a E7 Visa working here for 6years as Sr Quality Engr in automotive rubber parts company, we have more than 40 Pinoy EPS workers. One of my responsibility is to support our administration team in the management of foreign workers.
For E7 Visa, pls visit www.immigration.go.kr then go to their English Site then go to Visa Section. You can find all the requirements & procedure for processing E7 Visa & other kinds of Visa.
You don't need a host agency for direct hiring.
In my case, it takes only a month for my company to process all requirements. 3weeks for CCVI & 1 week for me to process my visa & POEA.
If you have further inquiries about the subject, please feel free to inform me and I will be glad to advise you to the best of my knowledge.

I received an info this afternoon lang galing sa POEA, according to them they had a certain division there that process the direct hiring procedures but you have to bring there daw most importantly is the signed contract both applicant and employer. i'll post the complete guidelines hopefully tom.
