Salamat Sulyapinoy

Nobyembre 4, lumapag sinasakyan kong eroplano
Sa wakas, Dubai UAE nasilayan ko
Grabe, culture shocked agad naranasan ko
Iba't ibang lahi tumambad sa harap ko

Noong una hindi ko talaga kinaya
Amo'y pa lang nila talagang kakaiba
Di naman sa ako ay suplada
Sikmura ko'y bumaligtad, ayaw kong huminga

Lungkot aking nadarama sa tuwing nag-iisa
Di mapigilan pumatak luha sa mata
Konting tiis pa sambit sa tuwina
Lahat ito'y para sa aking pamilya

Hanggang isang araw sa friendster nakilala
Prof. Emely Abagat ang pangalan niya
Website ng Sulyapinoy ay kanyang ipinakita
Kahit ako ay hindi taga-Korea

Di ko malilimutan mainit na pagtanggap
Ngayon isa na akong miyembrong ganap
Tunay na pagkakaibigan sa kanila nahanap
Iba ng pakiramdam, talagang kay sarap

Salamat sa FEWA at sa Sulyapinoy
Pagtulong sa kapwa sana ay magpatuloy
Hawak-kamay, sama-sama at sa buong mundo'y
Taas-noo, ipagmalaki na tayo ay Pinoy

Hi angel

First, I'd say u did a great job with that poem, ganda ganda! I hope to read more of your poems in the near future. Second, yes indeed, you are regarded here in SULYAPINOY & FEWA as one of our dearest friend and a family member too. Third, sang-ayon ako sa sinabi mo that whenever we see Filipinos helping others especially our kababayans, it makes us more prouder being a Filipino.

Sana lahat ng Pinoy handang tumulong sa kapwa, to work altogether as one and start healing, not only our nation, but also healing ourselves being part of that nation achieving the same goal with unwavering firmness of character, action, and will.

thanks so much for sharing your poem...ang ganda nman ng message, yah dats true lahat ng mga sacrifices natin...lahat ay para sa pamilya! sooner or later..soemwhere down the road makakaraos din po tayo, with God's help.

honestly...pati ako naka-relate sa poem mo, our family serves as our INSPIRATION in working abroad, kaya nga it helps us a lot having this kind of website...having FEWA community always ready to lend a helping hand, not only for the EPS workers but for all the "unsung living heroes" of today's generation.

once again...MARAMING SALAMAT for sharing...INGAT po lagi & GOD BLESS.

wow, i don't know what to say, coz all of you guys are so appreciative. I'm so glad that you liked my first poem. I just want to express how thankful I am to be part of sulyapinoy. You've opened a lot of hearts and souls of many OFWs. You've touched so many lives as well as mine. Eventhough all of you are so busy in working for the sake of your own families still you find time to help and reach our kababayans and for that i really salute you for doing and performing a great job. Once again, thank you...
