As you were aware Addict cla sa Golf and on our Shop oftentimes, our sales staff don't understand some koreans trying so hard to speak english here's some words:

- sa size when they need bigger size they'll ask...largie largie (LARGE)
- sa color naman Pinkuu??? (PINK)

In our own little way, pinagtatawanan din natin cla ng mas madalas yun nga lang iba pa rin yung power ng media because satin kasi never tyo ng criticize ng ibang lahi d2 satin and also balat sibuyas lang talga tyong mga pinoy...but the bottomline is, may impact tlga yun ng discrimination kaya tyo nag re react...

meron din akong naencounter about koreans,,,

itong koreanang ito bumibili ng tissue sa pharmacy,,,,litong lito na yong pharmacist kasi hindi niya maintindihan kung anong bibilhin ng koreana,,,the koreans kept repeating susyu,,kaya akala tuloy ng pharmacist suso,,,eh wALA namang tindang boobs (sorry po for using the word) doon.....siguro may 15 minuto silang nagtangahan,,,buti na lang at dumating yong kasama niyang filipino, at siya na ang rumesbak......

ito yong reaksyon ng mga pharmacist::: haay tissue pala,,,,,kaya yun bigla na lang pinagtawanan ang kawawang koreana even with her presence........naawa kami tuloy ng mga kasama ko,,feeling namin naagrayado at napahiya yung koreana.......ang lakas kasi yung tawa at napakasarcastic.......kaya kami din na nandoon,,hindi nakitawa instead inaway namin yong mga pharmacist muntik ko na ngang ibato yong hawak kong bottled dextrose eh.... A recent interview with Park Un-suh, a former Korean government minister and former CEO of LG Dacom, who is now in the Philippines on a missionary visa, encapsulates much of the misunderstanding and communication breakdown between Koreans in the Philippines and indigenous people. Park has no missionary training, according to a spokeswoman for the Korean missionary group Moriah Mission for Self-Support, a group that Park chairs, yet he is in the Philippines on a missionary visa, a situation that some Mangyan people are not comfortable with.

Not only that, even though Park said he was on a mission from God to help the Mangyan, a story that has been covered in the Korean language media, he doesn't appear to have much knowledge of their culture.

Asked for his reaction to Mangyan claims that when Korean missionaries try to buy land that lies in their ancestral domain, they are potentially disrupting local traditions and culture, Park said, "They have no culture. I've never seen their culture. What do they have?" He said the only evidence he had witnessed of Mangyan culture was "dancing."

The interview took place in Park's luxurious 2,556-square-foot villa, easily the biggest house in the area, set in 17 hectares of prime arable land. In the gated driveway sat a pristine sport utility vehicle and in the yard was a large satellite dish.

"This is God's property," Park said. "God assigned me. I'm just the manager."

But as Park described his plans to buy 720 hectares of land inside the ancestral domain of the Hanunuo-Mangyan people and build a new community, with churches, a hospital and schools, all for the Mangyan people, it was obvious that Park was unhappy working with the Mangyans. Not only did they have no culture, he said, but they were also lazy, always hungry and had no skills

Hello Everyone,

I'm Sure that the video/swf file of Ms. Lee Dae Hee has gotten viral and caught the attention of many Filipinos particularly those who are teaching English here in South Korea.

Just a reminder, we have allowed everyone to express their sentiments against Ms. Lee Dae Hee's act regarding the Filipino's accent using English, but is another thing to criticize the accent of Koreans when speaking the English Language.

If we will ridicule someone else's accent speaking another language, then, we are no different from Ms. Lee. We want respect, then give also some respect while pinpointing her mistake.

There are various ways to criticize, but to be effective and even possibly gain sympathy from lots of people even from koreans about the matter, we should open their minds as to why Ms. Lee was wrong about her impression.

We could show datas why we are rank 3rd of the biggest English speaking nation. Why we are amongst the top countries selected for offshore call centers. Why many Koreans would still want to learn English in the Philippines. There are lots more of good things that would prove her wrong, but non-Filipinos would never understand us if we will maul also the Korean people's accent while speaking English.

Everyone has an accent, deny it or not, it is a truth in life. It is a skill to learn different accents but to ridicule one is stupidity. Even English native speakers admit some accents of other English native speakers who belongs to another place, region or country are sometimes hard to understand when having a conversation with each other.

Ms. Lee should have been more conscious when trying to make people laugh on national TV. The Filipino people are known for being understanding. I hope someone would whisper to her that all it needs is an apology... be it on tv, radio, newspaper or even through her personal blog.

Again, be aware that we do not allow racial discrimination here at our website. Let us show how well-educated Filipinos are, so that it will elevate our stature further in the eyes of the world.

As an individual who use to take English classes over the phone with a Filipino instructor, I give you my word that even the mere thought of mocking Filipinos would never cross my mind.
I cannot tell you how much Filipino fans mean to me and as much as I love them, I would in no way
hurt or upset them.

I hope I have clarified any misunderstandings and once again I am truly sorry if I inadvertently
hurt anyone's feelings.
