ask ko lang po kung pano computation ng kukmin konkam sa medical insurance po ito. medyo naguguluhan po ako eh. salamat po

Health Insurance (건강 보험)
① This insurance is aimed at preventing, diagnosing or treating people�s injury and illness
② Employer obligated: employers with 1 or more employees
③ Employer covered: all workers employed
④ Coverage for foreigners: foreigners shall be covered
⑤ Insurance Contribution:
-> Employee : basic monthly income * 2.385%
-> Employer : basic monthly income * 2.385%

For Example: If your monthly basic salary is 904,000won, your monthly contribution must be 904,000 x .02385 = 21,500 won

⑥ Competent authorities: National Health Insurance Corporation(www.nhic.or.kr, Tel: +82-2-390-2000, English available). For more information related to Health Insurance, Please contact the NHIC directly.

⑦ Benefits:
A) Health benefits: Health care, health check up, refunding allowance for health care, compensation for excessive co-payment, appliance expenses for the disabled.
B) Long-term care for the old: home-visit care, home-visit bathing services, home-visit nursing, day and night care, respite care.

ask po ulit me sir,
kc ung misis ko eh umalis na ng korea last april 2o. pinacompute ko sa kwajang ko ung sahod nya 904000/30 days daw kc april then multiply ng 20 days pinasok nya tapos binawasan nila ng kukmin kunkam na 96,640 tapos kukmin yumgum na 17360 tapos yoo young puhom na 3440 . lumabas lang na sinahod nya ng 20 days eh 485 220. nagtaka lang ako kc bakit ganon kalaki kaltas nya sa health insurance. dati ang kaltas nya eh 14230 lang monthly. bale 1 year n 10 months n cya nung umalis . ask ko lang kung bakit ganon kalaki binawas nila. sana mapaliwanagan nyo po me. marami pong salamat

i think the reason why malaki ang health insurance deduction ng asawa mo in her last month salary maybe because due to lack of contribution in the previous months of work... so ang ginawa ng National Health Insurance Corporation, the deduction was a total adjustment on her previous lacking contribution...

to confirm, you may compute the contribution based on her previous monthly basic salary multiplied by 2.385%... you may check her monthly payslip...

you may also call the National Health Insurance Corporation para i-confirm mo if tama po ba yung deduction...
