magndang araw po..may nais lang po ako itanong tungkol po sa kontrata ng tulad naming EPS eto po ba 6 years lang maximum ang ibibigay na visa .salamat po.......

magandang araw po..may nais lang po ako itanong tungkol po sa kontrata ng tulad naming EPS eto po ba 6 years lang maximum ang ibibigay na visa .salamat po.......
kabayan,
originally, under current EPS Policy, an EPS worker is entitled for a first 3-years sojourn... and after his 3-years sojourn, he has an opportunity to be rehired by his current employer... and once he is rehired, he is entitled for another 3-years sojourn...

however, if ma-approve na po yung additional 2-years, maging 5-years na po ang sojourn period...

so, para sa mga hindi pa narerehire, if maabotan na po kayo ng addional 2-yrs sojourn implementation, you need to work/stay in Korea for 2 more years at saka pa po kayo pwede i-rerehire... at sa mga narehired na, you can work/stay in Korea for 3-yrs plus 2-yrs - total of five years...

NOTE: as of today, hindi pa po alam ng Ministry of Labor kung kailan talaga ma-approve and ma-implement ang additional 2-yrs sojourn... the new bill is still on the hands of the Korea National Assembly (kung sa Pinas pa, under review and final approval pa ng House of Congress)

so ibig sabihin po ba nito,kung ma approve na yung another 2years,hanggang 8 years lang talaga ng contract nating mga EPS dito sa korea???After nito,di na tayo pwede bumalik pa dito????

mga kabayan,
for clarification lang para hidndi tayo malilito...
1) ang sojourn ay yung period of stay natin dito sa Korea... under EPS, each foreign worker is entitled for 3-years sojourn only habang hindi pa po approve ang additional 2-years exyension...

2) ang employment contract naman ay yung employment agreement between a worker and his employer... every year a worker and his employer are required to sign a new employment contract because the validity of the contract is only good for 1-year...

Note: For example, if you work in a certain company (1st company) for 2 and a half years, tapos nagparelease kayo at lumipat ng ibang company (2nd company), bago kayo magstart ng trabaho sa 2nd company, you also need to sign new employment contract... in that way, kahit 1-year ang length of contract na pinagpipirmahan mo, it will be automatically terminated at the end of your 3-years sojourn period... your sojourn period shall prevail and not the length of your contract...
