walang kaltas sa kukmin
ask ko lang po kung makakakuha rin kami ng kukmin pag tapos ng contract namin kasi po wala pong kaltas sa sahod namin about kukmin,bali po kasi year 2006 kami napunta d2 at sa agency pa kami galing,bali 2 yrs lang contract namin,nung sept 2008 end contract na namin buti nlang at narehire kami di kami pinauwi di namin alam kung bakit,pero ni isa po wala kaming natatangap na tinatawag na gasoline refund at kung ano ano pa,,ask ko lang din po kung covered na kami ng EPS system kahit sa agency kami dati,,salamat po

kahit sa construction pa kayo nagwork, covered kayo ng EPS kasi starting last year abolished na po ang Industrial Trainee (D-3) Visa... i guess yung 2-years ninyo, under po kayo ng D-3 Visa and for that wala po kayong makukuhang benefits such as toejigeum, kukmin, and any kind of insurance...
yung sinabi mong rehire after your contract on Sept. 2008, hindi po yung rehire but renewal of your contract yun and at the same time converted na po ang Visa nyo under EPS (E-9) Visa... kaya hindi na rin kayo pinauwi... and based on current EPS sojourn period, you can still work here for another 3-years from the date you renew your contract under EPS... and if ma-approve ang 5-years, hanggang 5-years kayo pwede mag-work sa Korea...
more so, since under na po kayo ng EPS, dapat meron na din kayong contribution for "kukmin" (9% of your basic salary and 50-50 kayo sa employer nyo)... for example, ang 9% sa salary mo is 100,000won and monthly contribution mo should be 50,000won (deducted from your salary) while the other 50,000won is from your employer.
about naman sa "toejigeum", if your employer has 5 or more regular employees, your employer must purchase a "departure guarantee insurance" sa Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd... ang employer po ang magbayad at hindi kayo... and after one year work, if magparelease kayo sa company or after your 3-years at uuwi na kayo sa Pinas, you have to apply "toejigeum" either sa Human Resources Development Service of Korea (Head office) or Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance Co., Ltd....ang form pwede po makuha sa Labor Office (Job Center).
sa "return cost insurance" naman, kayo po ang magbayad nyan sa Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd pa rin thru salary deduction sa halagang 400,000 won but when uuwi na po kayo sa Pinas after your sojourn period, you can get it back without any interest...

by the way sir pano po ba namin malalaman kung meron kami makukuha na kukmin?kc pag sa employer namin d2 pinag iinitan kaagad kami pag nagtatanong,at pwede po pakibigay sa amin ng tel.no.ng tax labor d2 po kami sa yangsan city,maraming salamat po

you're welcome... by the way, ang 의료보험 is your National Health Insurance (NHI) which is tama po kayo. As I know, ang standard monthly contribution natin for NHI is 4.5% of our basic monthly salary. The benefits of NHI are discounts on medical check-up, hospitalization, and discounted medicines as long as you have the 건강보험증 (health insurance card) or commonly called 병원카드 . No more cash refund to be received after our sojourn period.

We should use our GROSS SALARY (salary including OT, nightshift allowance, meal allowance, etc) not the NET SALARY in computing our "toejigeum"...
