POEA ADVISORY
The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) in cooperation with the Japan
International Corporation of Welfare Services (JICWELS) is now accepting applicants for the
recruitment of the 5
th
batch of nurses and care workers for Japan.
Pre-employment orientation shall be conducted for qualified applicants prior to interview by
JICWELS and representatives from participating health care facilities and institutions in Japan.
Qualified applicants who pass the interview and who are successfully matched with a Japanese
institution shall undergo six (6) months of Preparatory Japanese Language Training (PJLT) that is
sponsored by the Government of Japan and conducted by the Japan Foundation at the Language
Skills Institute of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in Taguig
City. Upon entry to Japan, the workers shall attend another Japanese Language Training for six
(6) months conducted by the designated language center in Japan.
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
NURSES
 Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing;
 With Board License;
 With at least three (3) years hospital experience; and
 Must be physically and psychologically fit
 Preferably 20 to 35 years old
CAREWORKERS
 Graduate from any four (4) year course and certified as a caregiver by TESDA;
 Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (under board) or any allied
profession
 Must be physically and psychologically fit
 Preferably 20 – 35 years old
For both positions, knowledge of the Japanese language will be an advantage.
Qualified applicants must register online at www.eregister.poea.gov.ph and personally submit the
following documents to the Manpower Registry Division, Ground Floor, POEA Building, EDSA
corner Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City from August 6 – 22, 2012.
 A detailed resume with one piece 2x2 picture
 College diploma (for careworker applicant, diploma should be authenticated)
 Transcript of Records
 Valid PRC ID (for nurse applicants)
 Employment Certificates (for nurse applicants)
 Valid TESDA Certificate on Caregiving (for careworker applicants)
 Valid passport
 Valid NBI Clearance (for travel abroad)
Qualified applicants from the Visayas and Mindanao area must also register online at
www.eregister.poea.gov.ph and personally submit the above mentioned documents to the
following POEA offices not later than August 17, 2012:
No regional interview will be conducted.

Helo kabayan ask ko lng kung kelangan pabang mag undergo ang nurses for caregiver training kung sakaling caegiver ang aapplyan ko sana under JPEPA?? naku layo pa pala ng agency dto sa baguio.....
