A foreigner who is the person living together with the person that belongs to Diplomacy (A-1) or Agreements (A-3) and that finished foreigner registration and who does not belong to the family

Foreigner that lost permanent residency status (F-5) and is accepted by the Minister of Justice for continuous stay in consideration of protection of benefit in domestic life relationship
Foreigner that has domestic life base with not less than 7 years of continuous stay in ROK with the status other than Diplomacy (A-1), Official Mission (A-2), or Agreements (A-3) and who is accepted by the Minister of Justice

Permanent residency (F-5)
Application Eligibility
A foreigner that is an adult under the Civil Law of ROK who has the capability to maintain the living of himself/herself and accompanied family members, who has correct attitude, who possesses the basic knowledge needed in continuous stay in ROK such as understanding of Korean tradition, who is not the person for enforced deportation under the provision of Article 46, Item 1 of Immigration Act, and who has been staying in ROK for not less than 5 years with residential (F-2) status.
A foreigner and his/her child with less than 20 years of age who contributed in national employment creation through enterprise activity with staying in the country for not less than 5 years with possession of residency status (F-2) with investment of not less than certain amount for not less than certain period designated by the Minister of Justice.
Standard of the review of permission for extension of stay
A foreigner possessing permanent residencey status (F-5) can continuously stay in the country with no approval of extension of stay.
If a foreigner possessing permanent residencey status (F-5) belongs to the subject for forced departure under the provision of 46.1 of Immigration Act, the person shall lose the permanent residency status.
Others (G-1)
Application Eligibility

Subject of industrial disaster and his/her guardian
The person with treatment in relation to disease or accident or his/her protector
A foreigner under legal proceeding
A foreigner under arbitration of delayed salary payment
