Akala ng iba…

pag OFW ka buhay mo’y masaya
mahirap kaya ang malayo sa pamilya
homesick at nangungulila lalo kapag nag-iisa
tawag at chat parang kulang pa
kung puwede lang agad umuwi na
para pamilya muling mayakap at makasama


Akala ng iba…

pag OFW ka ikaw ay mapera
di nila batid utang patung-patong pa
karampot na sahod ay pilit pinagkakasya
kahit katawan at isip ay pagod na
ang iba kailangan ay mag-overtime pa
upang sa Pinas ay may maipadala


Akala ng iba…

pag OFW ka buhay mayaman ka
kaibigan yan ay maling akala na
ilang taong hirap kailangan pagdaanan muna
dugo’t pawis, minsan meron pang dusa
kultura’t lenggwahe nila dapat may alam ka
kailangan matuto kang makisalamuha sa iba



pagiging OFW talagang trabahong kay dakila
dahil minsan buhay pa ang nakataya
sige at patuloy pa din sa pagtitiyaga
upang makatulong din sa ating bansa
kaya pakiusap ko lang sa madla
perang aming pinadadala gamitin ng tama

Ms. Angel,

i agree with you kabayan...totoo yan about your poem, yan ang mali akala ng mga kababayan natin n nsa 'pinas..di gawang biro ang ang maging OFW's...the so-called modern living-heroes.Nakakatulong nga tayo sa pag-angat ng economy ng bansang Pilipinas kaya lang minsan buhay naman natin ang kapalit.

i'm so happy and PROUD of you...kabayan, in spite of everything...you can have the time to express your feelings and inner thoughts tru the power of pen. THANKS for sharing...may the almighty GOD always bless and guide you :hug:
