Ask ko lng po mga kabayan ntin jan sa korea..
Bikod po ba sa 3G ang Tri-band or Quad-band po ba ay may signal ba sa korea pag na roaming??

naku sis wala manloloko ang mga nagtitinda ng sim n globe sa poea binentahan ako ng roaming n sim ng globe sbi pede daw d2 korea quadband ung dala ko n phone galing pinas un pala ndi naman...

ah ganon ba..
Ks ang alam ko kailangan ata 3G ang phone para may signal jan sa korea..
Pero di kc ako sure if ung Tri-band at Quad-band ba ay meron din kaya signal..

Basta Quadband na CP applicable. Activate nyo lang yung Roaming 1hr or before lumipad ang eroplano papuntang Korea. It works fine for me using my Smart. Nokia 5700 ang CP ko.

Yes pwede ang Smart.

Procedure:

To activate int'l TEXT roaming, key-in ROAM ON and send to 333 at least 1hr prior departure.

Transaction is free of charge, and must maintain atleast P100 load.

Reminders: P20 every successful text.

Sending text from korea to Ph = P20, from Ph to Korea = P1

Note: Di pa yata nila supported ang voice call, text pa lang. OK lang kasi may internet naman dun. For the list of quadband phones, check nyo sa net yung mga model. Alam kong subok na are N95, 6680, 5800 (local), C3, sa mga ibang brand like Motorola or samsung, check nyo sa website nila. Sana nakatulong.

Regarding naman sa mga CP sa korea, gagana lang cp nila sa SIM card na provided nila like SK, Show, etc. di sila gagana sa Simcard na galing sa Pinas. Di siya magtutuloy mag boot (for some models siguro) nilipat ko kasi yung Smart SIM ko sa N5800 na nabili ko sa Yong-San, di gumana, same din sa SIM nila na nilipat ko sa N5700 ko galing Pinas. ang system kasi nila eh based sa IMEI # ng phone kaya secured. di tulad sa atin pwede papalit-palit ng cp at kahit ilan.

so it means,,pde poh ung samsung SGH-A437 ko poh,,quadband poh kc xa from us..possible poh kaya na magamit ko xa khit pang roaming lang?!!thanks poh..
