Philippines delays sending workers to South Korea

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines has delayed by a week the departure of 50 workers to jobs in South Korea because of high tensions there.
Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Esteban Conejos said Saturday officials decided it was more prudent to defer their departure until the tension subsides. The workers were supposed to leave on Monday.
Conejos said the workers were hired under an employment arrangement between the countries. About 46,000 Filipinos work in South Korea mostly in factories, service industries and construction companies.

The U.S. Air Force moved a WC-135 Constant Phoenix reconnaissance jet from the U.S. mainland to the Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, in September in preparation for another nuclear test by North Korea, the Sankei Shimbun reported Tuesday.
The WC-135, a modified aircraft, is able to detect nuclear explosions from the air by collecting samples from the atmosphere. It was stationed in Okinawa about a month before North Korea carried out its second nuclear test in May 2009. Apparently the U.S. believes that another nuclear test is imminent after unusual movements were detected at the North's test site.
Japan's Defense Ministry has also been gathering information with EP3 and YS11E electronic intelligence aircrafts, according to the daily. A Japanese government official said North Korea's preparations for a nuclear test "seem to have taken place for over half a year now, so after spending such a long time building a new tunnel, it seems unlikely they won't act."
On Nov. 17, the Sankei cited analysis of satellite pictures from British defense information firm IHS Jane's that North Korea is building a new tunnel in Punggye-ri , North Hamgyong Province, where it carried out the last test.

wag na po kayo malungkot,.. di nga natin alam na swerte ba kmi dahil andito kmi o baka mas swerte pa kau dahil safe kayo jan...kasi nga di ba me tension? intindihin nyo n lng gobyerno ntin...parang mga magulang, pag delikado ang pupuntahan ng anak nd talaga pinapayagan umalis....ubng ticket ma rerebook nmn yun...pag nd n talaga pinaalis ma rerefund un, kasi nd nmn kau ang nagkulang kundi dahil sa na stop ang pagpapadala ng pinoy dito...

siguro nga di natin ramdam kasi marahil sadyang tinatago ang tunay na sitwasyon para di mag panik ang mga tao pero ewan lang natin.......... kasi tuloy parin ang wargames ng us at sokor na magsisimula na ngayung araw at dumating pa ang dambuhalang USS George Washington supercarrier ....... hayyyyyy sana nman matapos na ito
