tama po kayo, mahirap magpasko na wala ka dito sa pinas, malungkot. ako 6 years ako di nagpasko dito, nasa taiwan ako nun. may kainan naman kami at inuman sa dorm, kaya lang lagi kami isinusumbong ng mga tsekwa na kadorm namin, masyado daw maingay pilipino, hehehe. nung 2009 lang ako nakapag-pasko dito sa pinas.

kung na send napo ang name nyo sa HRD KOREA,wait nyo nalang po maselect name nyo ,kasi hindi lang po ang PHILIPPINES ang may KLT EXAM,,may mga kasama din po tayong ibang bansa,tulad ng INDONESIA, THAILAND,CHINA,BANGLADESH, VIETNAM, etc,sa mga bansang yan kumukuha din po sila ng mga workers,pag PRAY nyo po palagi na ma select name nyo,

Ganun ba? eh bakit sila, HRD-KOREA, nagsabi at nagbigay ng quota sa POEA na kaylangan nila o kukuha sila ng 5000 trabahador dito sa Pinas kung pati vietnam at ibang bansa isasama nila?

Iba yung quota sa vietnam, bangladesh, china etc. etc. kesa sa quota sa atin, yung sinabi nilang 5000 na trabahador exclusive yun sa mga Filipino.. Gets nyo?

may i ask the bases of ur statement "mas pinili ang mga vietnamese kesa pinoy ng mga Korean employers for EPS hiring due to low salary, no kukmin (NPS), and no toejikeum?

i respect ur opinion but let me correct you to avoid misinterpretation sa mga readers dito sa sulyapinoy website...

1) low salary ang mga vietnamese - it's not true because all EPS workers regardless of their nationality are covered under the Korean Minimum Wage Act... so kung ano po yung minimum wage act every year (like 4,110won/hr in 2010), dapat yan po ang susundin ng mga Korean employers... if some employers do not give that wage to the vietnamese then that's violation of the law... siguro mostly sa mga vietnamese ay hindi nagrereklamo baka kasi hindi nila alam ang batas at rights nila...

2) no kukmin (NPS) contribution (including employers share) - yes it's true... wala po silang NPS contribution because from the start, Vietnam and Korea have no Social Security Agreement under Reciprocity Rule... EPS has nothing to do about the agreement... it's a matter of bilateral agremeent between 2-country relationship...

3) No toejikeum (Departure Guarantee Insurance) - it's not true... under Korean Labor Law, all workers in Korea including EPS workers regardless of their nationality, working in company with 5 or more regular workers are covered with toejikeum or Departure Guarantee Insurance...

about 2010 quota... it's true that Vietnam got the highest quota compare to other sending countries like the Philippines but it has nothing to do with the reasons above...

more so, kung ano po yung qouta na naka-assign for each sending country, yun po talaga ang expected demand from that country... but it's still up to the hiring employer kung anong nationality ang ihahire nila...

please refer below for the summary of quota for some sending countries I got from the labor...

1) Philippines - 5000 (Manufacturing only)
2) Thailand - 3000 (Manufacturing only)
3) Vietnam - 12500 (8000 Manufacturing, 2000 Construction, 1500 Agriculture, 1000 Fishery)
4) Cambodia - 700 (Agriculture & Livestock only)
5) Bangladesh - 500 (General Industry)
6) Kyrgyzstan - 500 (General Industry)

ako din po isa n din po ako sa nkapag submit n ng requirements sa poea last may26 2010...pero ung mga freind ko my send to korea n ung regestration nila may 18to 22 ng pass,meron n dw po nkalagy n send to korea...pki check nio ung status nio mga sis and bro bk kasam n kau dun...hopefully bka sa sunod n linggo meron n din me...god bless sa laht...

ah..ok, naayos siguro agad yung papers mo.. buti nalang..so intay ka nalang nyan ng call.. yung mga friend ko sa Korea ngayon, mga one month lang daw after ma-submit yung papers nila, may call na.. yung iba inabot ng 3 months, pnakamatagal yung 5 months.. Good Luck sau, sana ma-select ka rin kaagad.
