Good day po~ mag-tatanong lang...

Will there be an interview for e7 visa when we process it here in Philippines?
Kailangan din bang mag-pa register sa POEA ung e7 visa holder?

I need guidance lang po kasi gusto e-prepare lahat nang-kailangan at malaman ang lahat nang
tamang processo bilang immigrant worker..... Gusto ko lang e-saayos lahat...

Krizzy ano magiging work mo as E7 sa Korea?

Short interview lang sa Pinas, madali lang basta complete documents ka at talagang pasok ka sa E7 Visa.

Pagkakuha mo ng Visa sa korean embassy then papa register ka rin sa POEA as Name Hire / Direct Hire OFW.

hello po...krizzy same pala tayo ng situation...pero yun sakin ngayon pa lng ako mgsstart ng process..immail pa lng sakin yun mga docs from korea den issend back ko ulit sa knila...

I'll be working in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, malapit sa Gangnam. Sa Seoul.. I'll be doing some negotiations between Korea, Indonesia and Philippines..
My friend who works in their sister company recommended me for the job and I got hired after they received my resume.

Kuya E-mart,

My employer only gave me a number of my visa and not the Certificate in paper
form. I asked the embassy then sabi nang koreana naka-sagot ay visa fee,
passport at picture lang ang dadalhin ko...

Ano ba ang kaibahan ng Single-entry at ung iba? first time ko palang ito...

Single Entry at Multiple Entry....

Kung ang Visa mo ay Valid for 1yr at gusto mo magbakasyon during your 1yr contract ay mag apply ka ulit ng re-entry Visa sa immigration.

Kung Multiple entry ka ay pwede ka labas-pasok ng Korea during your 1year contract.

hello po...ask ko lang kung ilang weeks waiting period according sa experience nyo para makakuha ng letter of recommendation from small to medium business for e7 visa at ccvi na din...bale complete na pinadala ko documents sa employer ko korea... sabi kc employer it will took 3 weeks for the letter of recommendation and 2-3 weeks dw for ccvi...bale my work kc ako d2 pinas and kelangan ko mag-adjust kc b4 i will resign turuan ko pa papalit sakin yun kc hiling ng company ko d2. kabayan,

i think depende po yan sa hiring employer... kung maibigay nila agad lahat na mga requirements ng applicable ministry, the hiring employer may get the letter of recommendation maybe within 1~2 weeks... and the CCVI maybe within 2~3 weeks...

yung sa akin, as far as i could remember, i got the CCVI within 2-months kasi first time nila naghire ng foreign worker... hindi pa nila alam mga requirements... kumuha pa nga sila ng agent to assist them process my visa...

thanks kabayan...hope complete documents na yung employer ko kc sakin i did provide naman yung requirements ng E7 visa, i think im the second na nila for foreign employee kc my american na din dun na isa di ko lang alam kung E7 din kc architect naman yun...sana nga maayos ng maaga kc ipit din sitwasyon ko company dito pinas mahirap magdecide, kelangan ko din kc ng clearance sa company and i need to submit resignation letter 15 days before ako umalis, sayang naman yung benefits na makuha ko pa sa kanila.

question po, ask ko lang kung magkano ba expenses for food at transpo pwede iprovide ng employer, kc sa case ko lunch and dinner at transpo will be provided from monday to friday, libre ang housing mag-isa ko lang pero ako daw magbayad ng monthly maintenance ano po ba eto, outside urban seoul nga pala kc ako titira mga isang oras ang byahe daw according sa employer ko. Then ask ko na din, meron din kc ibabawas employer ko sa sahod na US$100 monthly na retirement pay daw legal po ba eto?eto yung details:

Compensation and Benefits

Date of monthly salary : the xxth day of each month.
Annual salary pay schedule
-Monthly: U$xxxx.-, U$xxxxx per year.
-Retirement pay, every 12 months, U$1,200
Total U$xxxxx.
30%:in Korean Won converted by the official currency rate.
70%:in USD
Visiting home of Employee.
Employee can visit his home once a year at Employer’s cost for economy class airfares.
Housing, meals and commutation.
Employer will provide Employee with free housing in the suburbs of Seoul plus lunch, dinner and commutation for week days.
All of monthly maintenance expenses at house will be borne by Employee.

hi renshil,

hindi po ba nakaspecified ang amount of food at transporation allowance sa contract mo? if hindi, i guess dun ka company restaurant kakain... at yung transportation mo, baka hatid-sundo ka ng company using company car...

about naman sa maintenance expenses sa house mo, i think kasali na po dyan ang electric, gas, and water expenses which is expected to be from 40K to 60K won depende sa mga appliances na meron ka sa room mo... so, i think okay lang yn kasi hindi naman ganun kalaki...

meron lang me comment sa 100USD deduction for your retirement pay... per Korean Labor Law, ang company po talaga ang magbabsyad ng retirement pay or Departure Guarantee Insurance at hindi ang employee... violation po yan sa labor law kahit nakalagay pa yan sa contract...

ito lang mga pwedeng ideduct sa salary mo... National Pension (kukmin) which is 4.5% of your monthly salary, National Health Insurance which is 2.665% of ur monthly salary, and monthly widthholding tax, resident tax, employment insurance (optional)...

It happens that i am not familiar with the labor law in korea, unfortunately i did already signed the contract, everything was clearly stipulated and the processing of my papers is on-going...is it possible that the embassy there / POLO can review/recognize/read the contract i signed for them to contradict any issue i.e. the retirement pay that is being deducted with my salary, a one way to protect my right as OFW.

It happens that i am not familiar with the labor law in korea, unfortunately i did already signed the contract, everything was clearly stipulated and the processing of my papers is on-going...is it possible that the embassy there / POLO can review/recognize/read the contract i signed for them to contradict any issue i.e. the retirement pay that is being deducted with my salary, a one way to protect my right as OFW.

i understand your reason... anyway, required ng POEA ang contract to be verified by POLO, sana makikita nila yun kung irereview naman ng Labor Attache' ang signed contract in details bago siya mag-sign... or baka hindi rin alam ng POLO ang batas na yan...

in case naverified na ng POLO at andun pa rin yung 100USD deduction, by the time you will apply for your OEC at POEA office, POEA will review your contract, that time you can ask the POEA na irequest ang employer to revise the contract at ipatanggal ang deduction na 100USD per month... the POEA can demand it and they will email the employer directly...

thanks sir dave, pag ba irevise yung contract if POEA will request for it, will this one can cause ba to delay yung pagpunta ko korea...honestly di ko rin pwede ijudge employer ko since eto din unang beses na maghire ng pinoy baka di din cya familiar..sana nalaman ko eto before ako nagsign hassle tuloy hehehe, sana makita nga ng Labor Attache' na magreview...gusto ko na din kc makaalis im getting bored na sa work ko dito hehehe...anyway tingin ko naman mabait yung boss ko hoping pag andun na ako at marelay ko yung rights ng ofw maintindihan nya since his planning to hire pa ng more pinoys in the future.

Thanks sir dave malaking tulong ka talaga at least medyo madami na ako alam about laws for ofw sa korea.

by the way, in order for you to explain at the POEA properly and for more info, you may review the document as below... your employer has no excuse to deduct any amount from your salary for your retirement pay based on the Korean Labor Law...

Article 34 (Retirement Benefit System)
With regard to the system of retirement benefits paid by employers to retiring workers, conditions prescribed by the Employee Retirement Benefit Security Act shall apply. Read Article 4, 8, & 9...

thanks sir dave, pag ba irevise yung contract if POEA will request for it, will this one can cause ba to delay yung pagpunta ko korea...honestly di ko rin pwede ijudge employer ko since eto din unang beses na maghire ng pinoy baka di din cya familiar..sana nalaman ko eto before ako nagsign hassle tuloy hehehe, sana makita nga ng Labor Attache' na magreview...gusto ko na din kc makaalis im getting bored na sa work ko dito hehehe...anyway tingin ko naman mabait yung boss ko hoping pag andun na ako at marelay ko yung rights ng ofw maintindihan nya since his planning to hire pa ng more pinoys in the future.

Thanks sir dave malaking tulong ka talaga at least medyo madami na ako alam about laws for ofw sa korea.

part of POEA procedure is to review your contract during your OEC application... based on my experience, ang POEA meron po silang standard contract guidelines, and after reviewing your contract, i'm sure meron po silang i-papadagdag na mga provisions ng employer mo sa contract thru Compliance Sheet... that time, ipasama nyo nalang din yung deletion sa provision na yun...

hindi naman ganun katagal ang processing kasi pipirmanhan lang naman ng employer yun and i-email... but in case ayaw pumayag ang employer mo sa gagawing request mo, then it's up to you if tatanggapin mo yun or hindi... at the end, nasa sayo pa rin ang final decision...

Fully understood sir dave, hoping things will turn well since my employer still processing to get a letter of recommendation from Small and Medium Business and my CCVI to follow. Hoping POLO rep. can alter this conflict in my contract since the said issue was written on the Addendum/Annex not on the body of the contract, it will be very easy for the Labor Attache' to notice upon reviewing the contract.

mga bosing tanong ko lang saang site bako makakahanap ng guidelines kung pano mag apply ng e7 visa ksi patapos nako ng e9 visa ko qualified namn ako sa e7 kaso ang problema di kasi alam ng amo ko kung pano mag apply ng e7 visa anong site ba ang pwede ko i refer sa kanya in HANGUL sana para maintindihan nya ng maayos salamt po sa inyo

Tell your boss to call or visit immigration office near your place. Malalaman nya doon kung qualified sya mag hire ng foreign workers under E7 Visa or kung ano ba magiging work mo ay E7 Visa. After that i-advise sya ng immigration for next steps.
