Hi everyone! I wanna know what mobile network providers do OFWs in korea use to text thier love ones in the Philippines and how much does it cost?

For me gmit ko lang ung linya ko and that is KTF.
others use LG or SK. meron pa po gmagamit ng texters.
May I know kung bkit po gusto nyo malaman?

hi mutya.all mobile phones here in korea can send messages to philippines in a cheap korean money like: (samsung,lg,nokia6210,motorola,curitel etc.)as long as you know the code in the philippines..Me i use samsung phones and Chikka messenger.

How much ba yung text rate from korea to Philippines using skt, lg and ktf?

How cheap are the rates per message? is it regarless of how many characters?

Yung sinabi mo na texters, do you know how much does it cost them? Do you think if texting using mobile phone is cheaper, would they use it for communicating their families and friends?

mga magandang binibini gandang umaga sa inyo..im not sure how much is it. i dont want to say value..but i think its cheap..i will research for it..love yah..

200won text using mobile from Korea to Pinas using 002 plus number. 150won using TNT prepaid card.Around 80won using Texter card from Korea to Pinas,
pero k kung text back sila ay 1peso plus kaltas ulit ng
around 80won sa texter load mo.

Around 80won using Texter card from Korea to Pinas,
pero k kung text back sila ay 1peso plus kaltas ulit ng
around 80won sa texter load mo.

Most of the OFW's here mas prefer nila ang online Chatting, texting and calling based on my experience and based on my observation sa mga kasamahan ko.

Will you be charged also when you receive a text from Philippines?

If you don't have load, can you receive text from Philippines?

No u cant received any messages from the Philippines if you dont have load, but once na may load ka na u can read all your pending messages from the PH at dun pa lang machacharged sayo un.

Do you know if many Filipinos use skype? how do you use it? do you need to go to internet cafes or use your pc to use it? or you can use your celphone? Is there skype prepaid card that you can load to your celphone to be able to send message? how does it work? how much does it cost per messge or is it per month?

believe that since Skype is a major player in the industry, this should really be an included feature.
To ask that every Skype member must always have access to the web & a pc in order to retrieve a messege
is unreasonable. There are still plenty of places in the world where modern technology is sporadic at best.
When you traveled abroad, it was often difficult to find an internet cafe.
Even then, their bandwidth was poor or they didn't have Skype on their computers
-- in part because it competed with the phone call services which many cafes included with their business operations.

But if you have internet access on your phone you can download skype and use it anywhere you are right? In using skype through mobile phones, is it free of charge or do you need to pay per message sent?

mga mam para sakin,,,texter ang gamit ko kasi mura reply sa pinas...pero doble kaltas dito sa korea...sa chicka naman 2.50 reply pero libre sa internet...sa chat naman ym pa rin ..ang mas maganda para sakin..kung sa card phone nmn...tnt at strong ang malakas,,alam ko po yan kasi 2 years nako nagtinda ng load dito..yung tnt nga lang paiba iba ng acess ,,kaya medyo konti lang nagamit

Incase there will be a new product using mobile fone tapos dapat connected sa internet tapos yung rate sa text is 2 pesos then yung reply ng galing sa pinas ay piso lng then pag natanggap mo wala ka charge, do you think that will be a good business for dealers like you? prepaid cards din bale ibebenta mo?

Can you tell me, how many OFWs right now in korea?

I want to try market in Korea wherein ofws in korea use pc to mobile here in the Philippines...If it's okay with you I will give you card number so you can text unlimited to the Philippines...If they reply they will be charged 1 peso only.

Let's try if we can sell monthly unlimited text.

By the way how much do ofws usually spnd for texting monthly to the Philippines?

mam kung unlimited ang texting mas maganda..kasi mas madami bibili..kasi yung txter ngyon ay paputolputol ang message so nakakain nya...i think almost 30000 na ang pinoy sa korea or more..dipa kasama ang mga asawa ng korean at ibang undocumented...maganda market dito..pero mas malakas ang pantawag..you can call me...para pagusapan ang business..san ba location mo mam....
