we just want to know what inside the MOU? we already knew there will be re hiring of newly hire filipino worker in south but then gusto namin malamn kung totoo na wlang nang pabahay at free meals ang mga bagong hire na pinoy sana man lang kinunsulta ito sa mga eps na nandidito,,para namn natutulan ito . maraming pilipino maliban sa physical treatment o verbal abuse ,ang nakakranas nito...wat more kung wla ng pabahay at free meals para sa mga migrant workers.Lalu pinahirapan ang mga workers... dadagdagan ba nila o dinagdagan ang ang tinatawag na 4D..dirty dangerous, delay of salary and etc.

as i know... kasi isa po ako sa nagdraft ng formal letter as a bonafide member of FEWA requesting POLO to include the provision for free accomodation and free food allowance for all Filipino EPS on the MOU... that time POLO approved our request but during the MOU agreement between Phil. (DOLE/POEA) and Korea (MOL), hindi po nag-agree ang MOL na isama yun sa MOU leaving DOLE without any choice kasi if pipilitin ng Phil. na isama talaga yan sa MOU, baka hindi na daw maghahire ng Phil. workers ang Korea under EPS kasi yung ibang sending countries ay hindi naman daw nagrereklamo...

one more thing, yung free accomodation and food allowance ay hindi talaga nakasaad sa Korean Labor Standard Act na compulsory po ang isang employer to provide such benefits... it's a discretion of the hiring employer agreed by the worker thru their signed employment contract kung meron man o walang accomodation and food allowance...

more so, according to the news, it is undesrtood that even the free accomodation and food allowance were not included in the MOU, they would still be part of the minimum standards set by the Phil. government and the POEA will ensure that these standards will be followed upon reviewing the employer's offer thru the employment contract... please refer portion of the news article...

good news!to our kababayan na ngangarap makapag work dito sa korea.marami po kc tau mga kababayan dun na naghihintay about d2 sa mou on eps.kahit na may nabago dun sa privilage kahit hinde same nung unang batch.atleast they have an opportunity 2 work here like us.especially po ung mga nag aral at nkapasa ng KLT. and mostly naman poh sa mga big company free meals n accomodation. tama po kau dun nasa empeloyer discretion napo un..tnx so much sir dave,sa info and hoping more info coming from u so that u will help a lot of people and kababayan working here in korea again tnx very much and godbless....

malaking kawalan sa koreans na mawalan ng isang filipino worker bukod sa matalino,masipag at maabilidad sa trabaho ,,kung marunong silang mag appreciate ng work natin pinoy.MASASABI KONG MAASAHAN ANG PILIPINO.ang hirap ay ginagamitan tayo ng diskriminasyon na dapat pagtuunan ng pansin ng gobyerno, at sana man lang di tayo bina bargain ng atin gobyerno dahil tayo rin naman ang ginagawang alipin dito at tayo ang nahihirapan, kung tutuusin ay pwedi namn tayo bigyan ulit ng libreng pabahay at pakain ngunit bakit sila pumayag hindi dahil kaya may kapalit na ibang favor kung kayat pinirmahan ang MOU na nasa diskresyun ng pilipino upang malaya siyang mamili na kung kanyang tatanggapin or hindi ang kontrata. sino ba naman ang pilipinong tatanggi sa trabaho sa hirap ng buhay sa pinas, kung nga ang kababaihan tintanggap ang delikadong entertainer job .yan pa kaya,

kung ngang dati ay may free houses and food ,,minsan ay di sinusunod ng employer yun pa kayang di na nakasaad at nakasulat sa kontrata..

ito po ay hindi para sa kapakanan natin ,ito ay laban ng pilipinong darating dito dahil naranasan natin ang hirap at pasakit sa kumpanya kung kaya dapat makinig ang gobyerno sa ofw ng korea!!

Kabayang Joseph...naiintindihan ko na malaking kawalan sa mga EPS ang pabahay at pagkain. Pero yung pag sign nang Pinas sa MOU ay hindi ibig sabihin ay pinapabayan na lamang ng gobyerno nAtin ang mga OFW dito sa Korea. Inisip pa rin ng gobyerno natin ang nakakarami at posibleng magkaroon ng opportunity na mag work sa Korea. Marami kasi umaasa na makapagwork dito, marami ang waiting.

Nakaraang taon ay nangangailangan kami ng 10 Pinoy EPS worker na gusto sana namin ay Fresh from Pinas pandagdag sa dating around 40 Pinoy EPS workers namin. Pero hindi kami nakakuha dahil sarado daw ang hiring or pagkuha ng Pinoy. So Sri Lanka ang nakuha namin.

Dahil kasi sa pakikipag negotiate ng Pinas at iba pang concerned country about sa contents ng EPS MOU ay na delay ang hiring at exam. Hanggang sa dumating yung time na halos lahat na ng concerned country ay nag sign na so walang option ang gobyerno natin kundi mag sign na rin or else mawawala sa list of EPS sending country ang Pinas. Ilagay kaya natin ang sarili natin na tayo yung mag decide as representative ng Pinas? Ang option lang ay Take it or Leave it.... Ano kaya ang pipiliin mo?

Alam ito ng ating mga Sulyap staff lalo na si Dave dahil parati namin na pinagkwentuhan itong topic na ito. Sinusubaybayan ko rin ang lahat ng EPS programs as part of one of my work being HR assistant sa mga EPS workers namin dito sa company namin.

Everyone's opinion is appreciated... Yan ang aking opinion sa issue na ito. Hwag nyo akong awayin ah....ehhehehhhe

Hindi naman lahat ng company ay no housing & meals. Yung nakasaad sa MOU ay minimum requirements lang kc hindi kaya ng mga maliliit na kompanya.

Kung gusto ng Free Housing at Free Meals ( 4 meals a day pa ). Apply ka na dito sa company namin now. Ongoing pa rin ang hiring namin. Naka hire na ako ng 2 EPS from this site. I still need 3 more EPS workers. For more information about our company...visit www.dongahtire.co.kr

san puba kau nag work and anu specific company ninyo? i mean nature of work?

samantalang kay ganda ng dating MOU compare sa ngaun, tapos ito pa binawasan na namn ang 6 years to 5 years na lang.

dapat ang sistema ay paganda ngunit pansinin natin ang regulasyon ng eps ngaun habang tumatagal lalung pumapangit baka maging 6D na yan sir.

as far as i know sir,,im not agens with our government pero kailngan pu natin ang mas maasikaso pa at mas maalagang atensyun para sa kapakanan ng OFW

sakripisyu napo nag gugulin natin ang napaka igsing buhay natin sa korea para pahirapan pa lalo ang mga migrante ng kung sino man nagpapahirap sa ating nauubus na lakas.

Ang option ng gobyerno natin ay makipag negotiate lang ng hanggat kaya nya pero nasa bansang Korea pa rin ang final desisyon at ang kung hindi na persuade ang bansang Korea ang tanging option lang ay stay in the list of EPS sending country or out.

Aminin man natin sa ating sarili na naiintindihan natin situasyon ng Phil EPS ay nalulungkot pa rin tayo pero desisyon natin iyon kung continue ba tayo or lipat na sa ibang bansa. Meron naman Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc, bakit tayo magtyaga sa Korea kung hindi na pala tayo happy dito.

Let's take our case now na ako ng hiring person or your HR ( or representing HRDKorea EPS ) na need ng 10 workers at isa ka doon sa applicants representing Pinas. Yung iba applicant ay from different sending countries din ( mga 20 applicants sila) . Example lang. Sinabi ko na sa itaas kung ano kaya ko benefits at pasahod like free meals pero ikaw ay gusto mo food alowance dahil hindi ka hiyang sa korean food. Sa tingin mo ba ay babaguhin ko ang benefits from free meal to food allowance considering marami applicants na nag confirm na sa free meals? 20 out of 21 applicants nagconfim sa akin. Need ko lang ay 10. Sa tingin mo ba bibigyan pansin ko pa ang request mo? Ganyan ang naging case ng Pinas kabayan Joseph, na confirm n lahat ang sending EPS countries so ano laban ng gobyerno natin? Tatanungin kita kung sakaling ikaw ba representative ng Pinas ay hindi ka ba pipirma? Sisisihin mo ba ang other sending countries representatives bakit sila pumirma na so wala ka kasama na magpatuloy ng pakikipag negotiate sa gusto natin na benefits?

Kung minsan kapag hindi tayo naging satisfy sa katayuan natin ay gobyerno agad sinisisi. Tama ba ito? Bakit hindi natin isipin kung anong effort ang ginagawa din ng gobyerno para sa atin. Hinihingi natin ay yung hindi kayang ibigay ng gobyerno. Pero tayo kaya natin ang gusto natin like lumipat sa Canada or more progressive country kung ayaw na natin. But since pinili natin na mag stay...it's our decision....hwag na tayong maghanap pa ng sisisihin.

Bakit po kaya hindi ako makapasok s e-online registration s poea..kapag nai-submit ko n po ang aking personal details and nakagawa narin po ako ng username and password then submit.Wla po iba lumalabas n form kundi yung personal details ko lang po at hindi man lang po ako makapag fill-up ng iba kong background like aducation and work.HIndi ko po alam saan ako nagkamali,dahil wla nmn pong nakalagay na invalid.Gusto ko po kc mag-apply s EPS-korea sabi po tru e-online registration lang daw po ang paraan.

i think naka block ngayon ang application form registration for korea kasi meron parating na klt examination kaya ganun ang nangyayari..
nakafreeze ata yan ngayon para wla nang madagdag na applicant na magregister ngayon april.
as observation lang po.

hay kung alam niyo lang hirap ngayon bago makapunta ng korea...masusuwerte mga nandiyan na...nuon kaya natigil hiring ng EPS dahil nagkagulo nuong 2007...sa dami ng gustong makapunta ng korea nagkagulo nagka stampid pa sa osch sa pagkuha ng licket para pa lang yun sa exam...andun ako nagalit koreano kasi nagkakagulo mga pinoy...may tumatalon sa bakod ng osch, may nagtutulakan...kung alam niyo lang hirap mag apply ngayon...

ngayong 2010 lang ulit nag open ng hiring para sa EPS...isa ako sa mga pumila dun sa osch...2 days me pumlia para lang makakuha ng klt examination ticket...dun na kami natulog sa tabi ng kalsada ng osch...nagtiyaga ako kaya nung mabigyan me ng ticket para sa EPS kulang na lang himatayin ako sa pagod at hirap at tuwang naramdaman nung isa sa mapili...pero alm ko isa pa lang yun sa dadaanang hirap bago makrating korea at ang lahat ay wala pang kasiguraduhan dahil kailangn makapasa k muna ng KLT..then medical kailangn ok din yun...at masuwerte n rin n magkaron k agad ng employer once na makapsa ka ng KLT...at mapili...
kaya masusuwerte yung mag naunang batch dahil hindi sila dumaan sa ganitong hirap at higpit...
6500 kaming ng exam sa buong pinas pero 3000 lang yata need sa korea...hindi ko sure kung pinoy lang yun or kasam n pati ibang lahi...mahirap ang KLT ngayon...pure korean at walang translation isa pa ang bilis ng oras...marami na bigla sa exam n yun...meron n pati siyang type A, type B, type C, at type D...kaya talgang hindi makakapgtanungan dahil iba iba ng set sa isang room...nosebleed inabot ko dun...
MAY 18 daw release ng result ng exam...sana maraming nakapasa..pero ako hindi umaasa kasi masakit pag nag expect kaagad...
kaya sa mga nasa korea na pagbutihin niyo trabaho jan..at mag ipon gat maganda ang kita dahil ang trabaho sa company ay hindi habang buhay...
sakripisyo din mga pamliyang mga iniwan niyo dito lalo n mga kids..dahil lumalaki sila na wla kayo sa tabi nila...

as i have posted in other threads, para sa mga new KLT passers where their name are already listed in the jobseekers roster, all they can do are wait and hope na mapili sila agad ng hiring employers thru random selection...

kasi po as confirmed by the NLCC (National Labor Consultation Center), currently it is not possible that a hiring employer can request a specific name to be hired because the system only allows random selection...

an employer may only advise the sex and age he needs to be hired then the system will randomly produce the names and photos for final selection... after that an employer may also review the work experience of the names appeared in the system as a basis for his final selection...

ask ko lang po pano yung mga ma re2new ng contract free pa rin po ba yung meal nila at housing?

depende po sa company offer... hindi po kasi compulsory sa Korean labor law na libre ang meal and lodging...

kaya dapat basahin nyong mabuti ang contract nyo if nakalagay ba talaga dun ang free meal and lodging bago kayo pumirma para at least makapagdemand kayo sa employer nyo...

if hindi nakalagay, try nyo magrequest sa amo nyo na ilagay sa contract... if ayaw magbigay pwede kayo magtry sabihin na magparelease nalang kung wiling po kayo maghanap ng new employer at para na ring diskarte nyo sa amo nyo... if ayaw naman pumayag ang employer na i-release kayo, considering na walang violation ang company sa labor laws, wala rin kayong magagawa... pero at least nagtry kayong magdemand ng libreng meal at lodging...

itatanong ko lang po kung anong maganda ilagay na trabaho sa job preference ko po? isang bagay ba yon para mabilis na maselect? at hindi ba makakaproblema ung registration ko kung i eedit ko po ngayon na lalo na na transferred na ang application ko sa EPS-korea? sana select na po ako para sa baby ko po!!!!!!!!!!!

Requirement po ang inyong job preference, pero sa actual selection, base sa experience ng dati ko boss, tanging picture at number lang ang makikita sa roster, nasa amo na kung sino gusto nya piliin, ilagay mo na lang yung lahat ng job experiences mo.

Tama din po yung sinabi ni Sir Dave na random ang list, tapos sa huli pwede nila ireview yung work experience mo.
