OWWA membership renew paano?

Pwede pa po bang mag renew ng OWWA membership sa ngayon? Paano po ba ang pag renew? salamat.

Renewing OWWA membership is simple, the OFWs can download the application from the agencies website at www.owwa.gov.ph and fill it up, or they can go to the OWWA office on the ground floor of the Marianas Business Plaza (formerly Nauru Building) in Susupe and request for the form. As of 2008, only 3,325 of the estimated 8,000 to 10,000 OFWs in the CNMI renewed their OWWA membership.

OWWA membership requires an annual payment of $25 representing their membership contribution, a small amount that goes a long way in helping their families after they�re gone. The benefit included in this membership is life insurance coverage for the duration of this employment contract, which includes P100,000 for natural death and P200,000 for accidental death.

totoo ba na kapag hindi ka na na ngingibang bansa ay wala ng bisa ang membership mo sa OWWA.kasi minsan napanood ko sa balita.may bisa lang daw yan pag OFW ka.

Kabayan Gio,

Dito sa Korea pwede po kayo mag renew ng OWWA membership sa office po ng Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Hanapin nyo lng po ang bago ntin OWWA Welfare officer Maria Evangelina Filamor.

If I'm not mistaken, the payment is 32,000 won more or less.
Pwede po nyo tawagan ang POLO tel.3 02-3785-3634 to 35.

Ito po another info from OWWA/POLO
We wish to inform you that POLO/OWWA is continuously accepting renewal of OWWA membership for Overseas Filipino Workers regardless of their visa status (E-9, professionals, household workers, entertainers and illegal workers). For a $25 membership contribution (in the case of Korea, renewal is every year), an OWWA member-OFW is entitled to different programs and services of the agency over and above the provisions of the employment contract, offer of employers or the laws of receiving country. Please find the attached brochure for your reference.

It will be appreciated if you can disseminate the said information to your OFW members/constituents for their security and protection. The Philippine Embassy is open from Mondays to Fridays, 9:00AM-4:30PM and every 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, 9:00AM-12:00PM.

kabayan yobeee may nakita ako na branch ng owwa malapit sa philembassy sa may itaewon nung nag renew ako ng passport sa may likod lang s'ya ng philembassy.pero para mas sure tawag ka na lang muna sa philembassy d'yan sa seoul tapos ask mo kung ano ang address ng owwa.
