i need help
good morning po..sir bk pd nyo ko tulungan...3 yrs n po ako last feb.12..ky lng naaksidente ako october last year xtended period of stay q hanggang june 7 kc continues p therapy ng kamay q..wait p ng desisyon ng doktor at ng korea workers welfare so pd p ulit m xtend period of stay ko..ang tanong ko sir..kung m implement n un 5 years period of stay pasok p kaya aq dun?kc d n ako m re-hire kc mahina kumpanya...ok nman n kmay ko kaya p mg trabaho ky lng ns doktor p din desisyon...sana matulungan nyo ako...thank you and more power s SULYAPINOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

clarification lang po, after feb. 12, 2009 hindi na rin po ba ni-renew ang contract mo ng company? kasi kung wala po kayong pinirmahan na bagong kontrata after your 3-years sojourn, that means you're not connected with your employer anymore...
and in my opinion, the fact na tapos na po yung 3-yrs sojourn mo, even ma-approve pa yung additional 2-years sojourn, hindi na po ito applicable sa situation mo kasi nga the purpose of your extension of stay here is not for working but purely for continuous medical treatment of your injury...
but i suggest you to visit the regional Labor office as well as the Immigration Office para personal mong itanong dun ang current situation mo...

i see... you're issued with G-1 Visa na pala... G-1 Visa is actually a visa for foreigners under medical treatment or attending legal proceedings in South Korea... so definitely, you're not under EPS anymore from the date you've given a G-1 Visa... thus, you're not allowed to work in Korea anymore unless you will get a new E-9 visa...
and in order to get new E-9 Visa, you must be rehired by your previous employer or you have to take and pass KLT exam again in the Philippines so that your name will be included in the Job Roster Lists for Korean employers to hire you...
but as I have said in my previous reply, please visit Labor Office and Immigration Office para personal mo ma-clarify lahat...

in my opinion, hindi po pwede, kasi nga iba na ang visa mo ngayon eh... okay lang sana if you're still under E-9 Visa (EPS)... pero opinion ko lang po yan ha based on my level of understanding on EPS re-hiring procedure... to make sure please visit Labor and Immigraton Offices nalang po... baka kasi may considerations sila sa situation mo...
