END CONTRACT

Good Day Sulyapinoy.

Im an EPS worker and soon to end my 3 yrs working period here on Dec. 26, 2008.

I was released 3 times already. Im working now in my 4th company here in Anseong City. My one year contract here will end on Dec. 5, 2008. My plan is to work here in my company until Dec. 5 and decided to go home on Dec. 09, 2008.

My questions are,

A.) Can I process my "twedjigum" before Dec. 5 even if I have not yet completed my 1 year contract here in this company.

B.) Do I need to go to the Immigration for the extension of my stay here since my contract here in my company is only upto Dec. 5 (but my 3 yrs stay here in Korea is valid until Dec. 26, 2008)? I will go home in the Philippines on Dec. 09, 2008.

I ask this questions because my sajang cant help me regarding this matter.

Thank you very much for visiting our website.

First of all, please consider this ... " Foreign workers who have worked at a workplace for one ( 1 ) year are eligible to receive severance pay ( Toe Jik Guem ). ( except workplaces with less than 5 regular workers)

To make it sure pls report to immigration office before Dec. 5 and follow their advise, so that you have more time also to follow up your severance pay or retirement pay ( Toe Jik Guem )

May I know the expiration of your alien card? Is it Dec. 5? You must follow the expiration date on your alien card and not the contract.
