u can use 209hrs as total basic monthly regular working hours for companies under 40-hrs workweek system (mon ~ fri, 8-hrs regular work)... that is equivalent to 858,990won basic salary per month for this year...

for companies under 44-hrs workweek system (mon ~ fri, 8hrs regular work plus 4hrs regular work on sat) naman, use 226hrs as total basic monthly regular working hours... that is equivalent to 928,860 won basic salary per month for this year...

sir hindi po ba sila nagbabase sa kung ilan ang araw ng isang buwan,,,
sa akin po kasi, pag 30 days ang 1 month == 224 working hours po pero pag 31 days nmn po === 232 working hours,,, ganun lang po talaga un?

hi fhergain,

using 209 or 226 hrs per month is the standard formula given by the MOL in getting the basic monthly salary... hindi po yan lugi because 209 or 226 was derived from the total number of weeks and days per year...

but if your companys' computation is basing on the actual number of days per month, walang problema yan... same lang naman ang result at the end of the year...
