Claiming the lumpsum for pension Empty Claiming the lumpsum for pension

Hello Smile

Dito ako sa Seoul working with an E7 Visa.

Delikado kasi yung NPS-SSS eh baka ma-aprub. Ano na nga pala ang status nito?

Maraming salamat po!

kabayang dacs,
E-7 din po ako... per NPS policy, hindi po talaga pwede makuha ang NPS lump-sum refund natin unless we will leave Korea for good...

but there's one possible option to do... pwede ka mag-request sa employer mo na umuwi ka muna ng Pinas at saka pa i-process ang extension of your working visa... pwede kayong mag sign-up ng contract before kayo umuwi pero huwag muna mag-apply sa Labor and Immigration unless hindi kayo makauwi...

in that way, your NPS lump-sum refund that you have filed will be transfered to your account the day the NPS has proved that you already departed Korea thru the Immigration record...

but before doing that, you need to convince you employer first... if you have further questions, you can call me at 010-9294-4365...

salamat...

Magandang araw po.

As I am reading your discussion , pwede po ba ako magtanong regarding sa E-7 visa?
Under E-7 din ang visa na nagrant sa akin. ano ano ba ang benefit or advantage ng E-7 visa over other visas being issued by the Korean Embassy?

Thanks ng marami.

kabayang ranie,

E-7 Visa is similar to E-4 except this is reserved for all other special activities that are specially designated by the Ministry of Justice. Therefore, if you are going to be working for a domestic Korean company and you possess certain skills or knowledge that are unavailable in the Korean domestic market, such as foreign attorneys and tax accountants, etc..., then this E-7 visa is probably for you. It should be noted that E-7 visa is generally granted for only those positions that are difficult to fill with domestic Korean employees due to the shortage of Korean workers.

if we try to compare E-7 visa from E-9 (Employment Permit System), ang E-7 visa ay walang limit to work (length of sojourn) in Korea as long your employer will continuously renew your contract yearly while an E-9 visa has a limit for 3-years plus another 3-years only if rehired (basing to current implementation).

regarding sa benefits and salary naman, it will still depend on the employer's offer stated on the contract but mostly E-7 visa has a higher salary compare to E-9 visa because of the position and profession of the E-7 visa worker... and with regards to vacation leave, most companies hiring an E-7 visa worker provide vacation leave fairly... and off course, companies granting for E-7 visa workers are mostly bigger companies than those of E-9 visas...

hope my explanation would help...

tnx...
