I pretty much consider myself as a Politically Correct person–so almost always do and go with whatever is for the best interest of many. I do use the “Happy Holidays” greeting as a common courtesy for non-Christian folks; but being a Christian, It makes me cringe when I see the word Christmas written as “X-mas”–I am not being anal about this; I just do not prefer it written that way–sure, it is shorter and easier to write it that way–but Christmas is all about Christ’s birth, so that’s like beating the purpose of the true meaning of Christmas ei! So next time, could you spell it out as Merry CHRISTmas, will yah please?..

Oh well, I don’t mean to rant and on this note, as Christmas is about Christ–It is also the Season about Love, Sharing and Giving–whether you give a lot or a little–whether, spending just a bit of your time helping out others by feeding the Homeless, visiting the elders, Toy Drives or whatever Charity events– what matters most is that you share a piece of you.

X-MEN! X-Means!

It originated from the use of the Greek letter Chi (an X) as the abbreviation for Christ. It's mostly about the way the letters used to be written and how things were spelled by the Greeks back then. The notion that it is new and vulgar representation of the word "christmas".I don't practice writing "Xmas" for "Christmas",it is for other people who are lazy,a person who is in too much hurry or their spelling is bad, that's why they save that 5 letters;and we can't deny the fact that nowadays the number of text for cellfone is just limited.
None of this means that christians(and others) aren't justified in feeling slighted when people write "Xmas"
rather than "Christmas",but the point is that the abbreviation was not created specifically for the purpose of
demeaning Christ-it's a very old artifact of a very different language.
Anyway, the important is how we celebrate the birth of Christ, how we love Christ and how we accept Christ in our life, because the true meaning of christmas is "Love".God loved His own and provided a way-the only way-for us to spend eternity with Him!
It is not how we write it,but how we keep Christ in our hearts especially on His birthday!
santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa santa
So, for those people who are in hurry writing Christmas, let's give God the time He deserves!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!
