Life, life, life I understand how it works
Heart, heart, heart, Im aware how it beats
Fear, fear, fear, I know youre not real
Confusion, miscalculation, misconception
become my name.

I thought you came to my life
And Im sure Im more than ready when you do
But I made mistake of reading it the way
it was written
Not to mention painted it with different
colors.

Maybe I was becoming impatient
Maybe I was trying to make things even
faster
But also perhaps I just dont ask for
anything
Except for a chance to be just next to
you wherever you go.

I thought youre staying long enough
That I can show you how I really feel
To take care of myself for you
As you promised to take care of yourself
for me..

Wrong, I think I was
For I failed and havent felt what I
thought I can feel
Or maybe I was just making a wild,
extreme guess
For I expected and shortchanged my own
expectations.

You became a part of my life, thats true
And youll always have a place in my past
That I wish to see and meet again in my
future
For maybe today isnt just the day..

When I look back and see you there
I can smile and honestly tell myself
How tender, how lovely, how happy I became
For you, my special someone, have come
to just leave....................
