THE POEM

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

The Passion of Christ... Empty Jaz something to read...

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Sun Mar 23, 2008 6:48 pm

When the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the mother returned to her seat and discovered that the child was missing.
Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlights focused on the impressive Steinway on stage.

In horror, the mother saw her little
boy sitting at the keyboard, innocently picking out

"Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star."

At that moment, the great piano master made his entrance, quickly moved to the piano, and

whispered in the boy's ear,

"Don't quit.""Keep playing."

Then, leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began filling in a bass part. Soon his right arm reached around to the other side of the child, and he added a running obbligato.

Together, the old master and the young novice transformed what could have been a frightening situation into a wonderfully creative experience.

The audience was so mesmerized that they couldn't recall what else the great master played.Only the classic,

" Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

Perhaps that's the way it is with God.
What we can accomplish on
our own is hardly noteworthy.

We try our best, but the results aren't always graceful flowing music. However, with the hand of the Master, our life's work can

truly be beautiful.
The next time you set out to accomplish great feats, listen carefully. You may hear the voice of the Master, whispering in your ear,
"Don't quit." "Keep playing."

May you feel His arms around you and know that His hands are there, helping you turn your feeble attempts into true masterpieces.

Remember, God doesn't seem to

call the equipped, rather,

He equips the 'called.'

Life is more accurately measured by the lives you touch than by the things you acquire.

So touch someone by passing this little message along.
May God bless you and

be with you always!

And remember ,

"Don't quit."

"Keep playing.

The Passion of Christ... Empty Re: The Passion of Christ...

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Sun Mar 23, 2008 7:09 pm

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

A set of screwdrivers,
a cordless drill, and
a black lace bra...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

One friend who
Always makes her
Laugh...
And one
Who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

A good piece of furniture
not previously owned by
Anyone else in her family...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE

Eight matching plates,
Wine glasses with stems,
And a recipe for a meal that will
Make her guests feel honored.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

A feeling of control over Her destiny...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

How to fall in love Without losing herself...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

HOW TO QUIT A JOB

BREAK UP WITH A LOVER

AND CONFRONT A FRIEND WITHOUT RUINING THE FRIENDSHIP...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

When to try harder... and

WHEN TO WALK AWAY...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

That she can't change
The length of her calves,
The width of her hips, or
The nature of her parents...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

That her childhood
May not have been Perfect...

but; Its over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

What she would and Wouldn't
Do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

How to live alone...
even if She doesn't like it...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

Whom she can trust, Whom she can't,
And why she shouldn't Take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

Where to go...
Be it to her best friend's kitchen table..
Or a charming inn in the woods...
When her soul needs soothing..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

What she can and can't accomplish
In a day...
A month...
And a year.

READ THE FIRST LINE CAREFULLY.

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God..
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.

The Passion of Christ... Empty The Requirements Of Waiting!

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Wed Mar 26, 2008 8:53 pm

Psalm 27

Waiting on the Lord sounds easy. After all, we only have to pray, pray and listen for His answer, right?
The truth is that believers who desperately want to see a need met often find the process nearly unbearable. The next time God tells you to wait, remember these four requirements for keeping a steady
vigil until hE SAYS, " Now go forward."
Believers must have FAITH, trusting in God even without knowing when or how He will resolve a situation. And Faith cannot function without HUMILITY. We must submit to the Lord with the recognition that there is
nothing we can do except pause until further instructions come. Believers are far safer in this voluntarily helpless condition than in trying to figure out their own solution. As soon as we begin to manipulate our circumstances- which is a demonstration of prideful reliance on self- we subvert the MASTER'S PLAN.
The moment we realize that we could save ourselves pain or stress through some action that is not of GOD, we need PATIENCE, which is not an inborn Trait. It is a decision to remain calm and quiet in a difficult situation.
We will never make the choice to exercise patience, unless we have COURAGE. Friends and colleagues will freely offer advice about our situation. We must bravely wait when others say it is time to move.Fearof CRITICISM is often the catalyst for believers to get out of GOD"S will.

EARLY LIGHT:
Praying when we would rather be doing is hard. But we must be ready to hold steady FAITHFULLY, HUMBLY,
PATIENTLY, and COURAGEOUSLY when GOD says,"WAIT."
PROVERBS: 11-13

The Passion of Christ... Empty PRAY, LISTEN TO THE SOUND AND UNWIND...

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:04 pm

Please take a moment to relax your mind and
humble your heart to focus on Christ.
Allow God to be the only person on your
mind while you read this .
If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc., we should give the same respect to this prayer.
Friends who pray together, stay together.

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You
for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for
me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.
Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of
each and every day to clear my mind so that
I can hear from You.
Please broaden my mind that I can accept all
things.
Let me not whine and whimper over things I have
no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And
when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth
my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God.
And when this world closes in on me, let me
remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when
I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I
can't pray, You listen to my heart.
Continue to use me to do Your will.
Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing
to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of
encouragement for others. I pray for those who
are lost and can't find their way. I pray for
those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I
pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it
with others. I pray for those who don't . But I thank you that I believe.
I believe that God changes people and God
changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their
households. I pray for peace, love and joy in
their homes that they are out of debt and
all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows
there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands
for You to fight. I pray that these words be
received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.
This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Just repeat this phrase and see how God moves!!
Lord I love you and I need you, come into my
heart, please.

The Passion of Christ... Empty 2 BOXES FROM ME TO YOU

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:11 pm

God's Boxes

I have in my hands two boxes,
Which God gave me to hold.
He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box,
And all your joys in the gold."

I heeded His words, and in the two boxes,
Both my joys and sorrows I stored,
But though the gold became heavier each day,
The black was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black,
I wanted to find out why,
And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole,
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.
I showed the hole to God, and mused,
"I wonder where my sorrows could be!"
He smiled! a gentle smile and said,
"My child, they're all here with me.."
I asked God, why He gave me the boxes,
Why the gold and the black with the hole?
"My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,
The black is for you to let go."
We should consider all of our friends a blessing.

A ball is a circle, no beginning , no end.
It keeps us together like our Circle of Friends.
But the treasure inside for you to see,
Is the treasure of friendship you've granted to me.

The Passion of Christ... Empty The Grace of God...

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Sun Mar 30, 2008 11:17 pm

Grace is God's goodness and Kindness to those who do not deserve it and cannot earn earn it. Its benefits are available to everyone.
Each day God causes hearts to beat, bodies to heal, and love to be given and received, regardless of peoples' opinions of Him. He offers forgiveness to the rebellious, freedom to sinners, and intimacy with Himself to all who trust Christ as Savior. Through Jesus, He offers access to the throne of grace ( Hebrews 4:16), where the Savior serves as high priest, interceding for His own.( Hebrews 7:25) We know we can approach God confidently because there is no condemnation for those who belong to Him.( Romans 8:1) What amazing grace!
It was not always so. Israel, God's chosen people, lived under the Law, not under grace. They, like us, were a dis-obedient people; God in His mercy established the sacrificial system to symbolically provide a way for them to be forgiven for their wrongdoing. However, Jesus gives us permanent forgiveness because He died once for all sins. ( Hebrews 7:27)
It was humanly impossible to obey every aspect of all 613 commandments God handed down through Moses, but Jesus fulfilled the Law for us, and grace makes it count on our behalf. Because our Savior sacrificed His life for us, we can approach God's throne directly.
EARLY LIGHT
As believers, we stand upon the immovable foundation of God's grace. It is over us like a canopy and surrounds like a protective wall. As the truth of it permeates our hearts and minds, we become expressions of the Lord's love, kindness, and goodness to others.
Isaiah 1-8

The Passion of Christ... Eye10

Dear All:
This photo is a very rare one, taken by NASA. This kind of event occurs once in 3000 years. This photo has done miracles in many lives.
Make a wish ... you have looked at the eye of God. Surely you will see the changes in your life within a day. Whether you believe it or not.

This is a picture NASA took with the hubble telescope.
Called "The Eye of God"

The Passion of Christ... Empty The Christian Way To Fight Stress...

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:04 am

An Angel says: "Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen; you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice."

1. Pray.

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many).

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17. Get enough rest.

18. Eat right.

19. Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

22 . Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you Jesus!"

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people they probably need it the most.

32. Sit on your ego.

33. Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36 . Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.

GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

"If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

The Passion of Christ... Empty Forgiveness...

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:15 am

The Passion of Christ... Forgiv10
All of us have done things in our past that we wish we’d never done. All of us would love to have the opportunity to revisit our past and make the right choice, take back a word wrongly spoken, or express a different attitude than the one that brought someone pain. How do we solve this dilemma? Trying to act better will not erase what has been done in the past, what has been said in the past, or what has been chosen in the past. There is no way that we can go back and undo what we have done, or unsay what we have said. Reading the Bible will not take care of our past, going to church will not heal our past, and doing good works will not erase our past.

God has provided the only complete and perfect solution to every regretful and sinful thing related to our past. God’s answer is not “do better” or “try harder.” God’s answer is not found in what we can do, but in what He has done. God sent His Son into the world to die upon a cross. He didn’t die as a martyr, but as our Savior. He didn’t die for a noble cause, but for our sins. Jesus Christ died to save us from every stain of sin, every shame of sin, and every pain of sin.

When Jesus shed His blood for our sins, God’s justice was satisfied. The blood of Jesus Christ stands as the only redemptive price God will accept for the cleansing and forgiveness of our sins. Because of the blood of Jesus, God says to us through His Word, “Turn to Me and I will cleanse you. I will wash you. I will forgive you. I will not only do this, but I will do even more, I will forget your sins completely and remember them no more.”

Have your sins weighed you down? Let Jesus lift you up. Have your sins broken your heart? Let Jesus heal you. Have your sins had you bound? Let Jesus free you. Have your sins condemned you? Let Jesus speak His words of forgiveness over your life. Let Him embrace you in His arms of grace; let Him cover you with His mercy; let Him draw you close to His heart.

Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, God says to you, “Come now, let us set things right, though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow; Though they be crimson red, they may become white as wool.” Isaiah 1:18 (NAB)

As you receive His forgiveness, hear Him say to you, “For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:11-12 (KJV)

The Passion of Christ... Empty Jaz something to read...

Post by NaughtyAngel969 Tue Apr 01, 2008 1:06 am

Did you know that when you envy someone, it's because you really like that person?

Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart, are real weak and most succeptible?

Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones that really need some one to protect them?

Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are :

I love you, Sorry and help me

The people who say these are actually in need of them or really feel them, and are the ones you really need to treasure, because they have said them.

Did you know that people who occupy themselves by keeping others company or helping others are the ones that actually need your company and help?

Did you know that those who dress in red are more confident in themselves?

Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their beauty?

Did you know that those who dress in black, are those who want to be unnoticed and need your help and understanding?

Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two folds?

Did you know that those who need more of you are those that don't mention it to you?

Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in writing than saying it to someone in the face? But did you know that it has more value when you say it to their face?

Did you know that what is most difficult for you to say or do is much more valuable than anything that is valuable that you can buy with money?

Did you know that if you ask for something in faith, your wishes are granted?

Did you know that you can make your dreams come true, like falling in love, becoming rich, staying healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and if you really knew, you'd be surprised by what you could do.
