One of the penalties for companies being caught with illegal workers....

Q: What are the penalties for companies being caught by immigration with illegal workers?
Ans: From Ministry of Labor (MOL), The employers with the record of employing illegal workers are not allowed to hire or re-hire foreign workers for one to three years from the date the illegal employment was found out. However, the punitive measure does not affect the workers who are currently working on the legal ground.
In this case, if the company you're working was experiencing the same situation, malabo kayong mai re-hire.

in my case naman,nahulihan kmi ng 1 tnt last year oct .20'07 ...then my contract will be expire this sept.5'08 ...and sabi ng sajang ko i-rrehire daw ako and kailangan daw na umuwi muna ako at mag hintay ng visa ?possible ba yun ? eh ang penalty pala 1-3 yrs?
