Kabayan,

Just wanna share what the NLCC representative told me in our conversation this morning...

According to National Labor Consultation Center (NLCC), June 2, 2010 is a Public Holiday aplicable only for government offices, schools, and banks.

But for private companies particularly on manufacturing, construction, and agriculture sectors, in general it is treated as normal working day but an employer has an option to close the company.

More so, in general it is a No Work - No Pay holiday and at the same time No Overtime Allowance holiday, unless stated in the signed labor contract between an employer and worker that it is a paid holiday.
