gud pm gusto ko lng poh ask kung ganu puh katagal makukulong pg nahuli? almost 1 yr npoh kmi ng asawa kong american na ilegal dto at ang asawa koh po ay ex soldier finish contract xa at ngdecide kmng mgtrabaho s factory to make money gustu kuh din po malaman kung makukulung din b xa pg nahuli o s isang kulungan din kmi mapupunta' thnx...

no one is exempted from the law.. so even if your husband is an american & ex-soldier, it is a clear fact that both of you are illegal/overstaying... it will depend on the situation once the officers arrest the two of you due to overstaying, definitely you & your husband will go to jail once arrested... if you don't want to compromise with the situation, better go home as soon as possible, it's easier rather than being seized by the immigration officer... goodluck!

why irvan, is there a difference if he's an american?, sometimes, some filipinos has this high connotations to other races, particularly to americans that's why it seems new to them if they encounter such situations, ... they forgot that though we are of different races, we have common needs in life, that sometimes, due to unavoidable situations, they commit such ....
for the original author of this post, you may inquire in our immigration/embassy regarding resident visa in our country...
as for your situation, both of you must always prepare an updated (take note, not expired) passport and enough amount of money to suffice your airfare back home... the only thing that might get you stuck in the immigration once you are arrested is if you don't have money to buy ticket and if your passport is expired (definitely, you cannot travel if your passport is expired)...

excuse me po pwede mag travel khit expired na ung passport...in my case b4 tnt ako expired na ang passport ko wala na tym ma renew eh i need to go home na.... kumuha lng nman ako ng travel document sa embassy then nkauwi me agad 4 ur info lng nman ERnie

my bagong program po ang gov ng korea sa ngaun..
if u dont want na dpo kau mahuli at makulong as tnt..
y not apply for dis thing:
“출국지원 프로그램”을 2010. 5. 6. ∼ 8.31.(4개월)까지
that is intended program for all tnt here in korea...
and u dont need na po ng mgfine....
and u will also be still given a chance to come back here in korea kung gusto nu po....
at di po kau bbgyan ng any negative record...
ang purpose lng po ng gov of korea is mabawasan ung padaming padami na tnt na stayer po dto sa KOrea...^^

Curious lng po...ppwede po bang makauwi sa pinas ang isang tnt na hindi mahuhuli sa immigration sa airport? Di ba po makikita nman sa passport na expired na visa nla dun... Meron kasi ako nabasa dto na better umuwi na agad ang isang tnt bgo pa sya mhuli ng immigration.. eh kung mahuhuli rin pla sya pagdating sa airport...
Magandang araw s ating lahat.

mas ok po go muna ng immigration pra sa voluntary exit po...
mgapply po kau for voluntary exit para pg dating po sa airport eh makkta po ung notice nu na voluntary exit po kau at dpo kau huhulihin...

hope it wud be help my simple advice ^^

in my case b4 tnt ako for 5 years (year 2000 ako umuwi) nagkaroon ng voluntary exit...gnito gnawa ko ko po bumili ako ng plane ticket nka indicate ang date ng flight ko, tapos nagpunta ako ng immigration(incheon)sabi ko kuha ako ng exit pass dahil uwi nako then ang kailangan lng doon ay passport at plane ticket...sa akin noon 1 week before ka umuwi punta ka na ng immigration....( para sa mga expired na ang passport at wala ng tym mgrenew pwede rin ung TRAVEL DOCUMENT ang ggamitin mkukuha sa phil. embassy pero may bayad yon.)
