Guys! Is it possible for Filipinos to extend C-3 or tourist visa here in South Korea?

punta lang po sa immigration office, mas maluwag po ang pagbibigay ng extension visa sa suwon!!! ganun po kasi ginagawa ng mga kasama ko dito eh!! before mag lapse ang 1 mth. nila, nagpapa extend sila, den binibigyan sila ng 2 mths.!!! just try po!!!

Thank you po Yengsky. Pero taga Suwon po yung kaibigan mo? Ok lang ba na malayo ako sa Suwon tapos doon ako magpapaextend?

@jelai,,pls pkipost nmn d2 yung travel agency d2 pinas apply mo for tourist kc want ko mag tourist din dyn kya lang wla kmi idea husband ko kung san d2 pinas ok na agency o travel n tours.pls...ito 01029616018

FOR THE EXTENSION OF C-3 VISA:
- go to the immigration office and apply for its extension. you will fill-up the application form, present your passport and pay the necessary amount. however, you need to justify and convince the immigration officer why you need to be given visa extension. maximum of c-3 visa extension is 90 days (3 months)

FOR APPLICATION OF C-3 VISA:
go personally to South Korea Embassy. Address is:

when, applying for C-3 visa, you need to submit the following documents:
1. Application form (typewritten)
2. Passport sized colored picture
3. Current valid Passport
4. Passport photocopy of First Page (6 months valid)
5. Employment Certificate (Original)
6. Personal Bank Certificate(Original)
7. ITR (Income Tax Return) (photocopy)
8. If Personally invited to Korea: Original Invitation Letter in Korean & photocopy of the Invitor's Passport

THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU CAN GET C-3 VISA EVEN IF YOU APPLIED THROUGH A TRAVEL AGENCY, BECAUSE IT IS STILL WITH THE FINAL DISCRETION OF THE EMBASSY IN APPROVING SUCH APPLICATION.

sir ernie, regarding po itr and bank certificate, do they require specific amount.. and during application at embassy will there be closed door interview..thanks

to Mr. Boybalot:
* ITR is income tax return for short, thus, it means that your detailed income will be reflected

* bank certificate does not require specific amount, however, it is the embassy who will decide if your savings can sustain enough and/or jibe with your social status as reflected in your ITR and your profession/job

* during application, closed-door interview is not compulsory. it depends on the documents you submitted and it is the consul's decision if they will call you for an interview or not

ask ko lang po... kung tunay na naextend yun friend mo? kasi gusto ko kasi extend yun mother ko dito para alagaan ang anak ko.. kaso sabi sa immigration hindi daw pedeng mag stay ng more than 90 days ang C3 visa..

kaya nang mabasa mo ang msg mo nabuhay ako ng loob. anu ba ang mga doc na kelangan ibigay?
