I just want to ask about SAM WOO ECO company producton of plastic and rubber. Ano kaya ang nature ng work. I was offered a job there but I cant decide if I'l accept or not because I'm working here in the Philippines earning enough. I'm a professional. Is it worth to leave my nice job here? I have no experience working in a factory. I'm confused if i'm going to accept the job or not. thanks!

Hi Rosette,

What kind of working visa is the company offering you? If E7, usually you can work here in office but you have to adjust the working culture of Koreans. If E9 (EPS) you have to work in the so called 3D Jobs (Difficult, Dirty, & Dangerous).
Just try to analyze these scenarios...

1) Salary: (EPS Worker) Considering the recent rate, the basic salary I think it would reach at around 35,000PHP but if you have overtimes which is very common here, probably your income will reach 50K plus.
2) Salary: (E7 Visa) Much higher than EPS for basic but usually walang overtime ang office worker dito. Just like me. So may limitation ang kita mo...
3) If you already have your own family there, offcourse you have to risk your relationship with your wife and children being far away from them but na sayo pa rin yan... I included this because we cannot deny the fact that there were so many broken families now due to woking abroad.
4) Not all companies have good Korean management, so you have to expect the worst...

Yan lang po ang ma-ishare ko sayo... Hope these will help in your own decision making. I believe our future always depend on our personal decisions...

yes, you can search for any emlpoyer under E7 visa here provided that you have professional experience (IT and Engineer level positions) for about 5-years. If meron pong employer na willing mag-hire sayo under E7 visa, then you have to go back to Phil. first and let the hiring employer process your visa in Korea and forward the CCVI to you.

ask ko lang po, kc my wife is planing to apply under eps system.. and shes planning to take 7th klt exam dis november. presently she is a provincial capitol employee here in camarines sur(bikol)a graduate of agricultural engineer and she has gained 15 years working experienced as planning engineer. puidi po sya mag apply under E7 VISA? pano po ba mag apply? hope to answer my question. thanks a lot sir dave
