Need some clarification on extension contract...

helo sir dave.

im also an EPS worker workn here in korea...natapos na po ang 3 years contract ko last june 2008.
then i was rehire by our sajang, and work agen here in korea start august 2008...im confused about the extension contract...noon po kc bago ako umalis ng korea last june 2008, ang alam po ng sajang namin is after the 3 years contract meron + 2 years extension....at base po sa labor ofis noon. kailangan ko po umuwi to have 45 days vacation then balik ulit dito, pero that time di pa po kc nilalabas ung kasunduan na pwede ng 5 years ung contract ( 3 years original contract + 2 years extension)...natapos ko na po ung 3 years ko and i have given by my boss na 2 years extension....pero noong nakabalik po ako ng korea last august 2008, based in migrant center near my place, meron na daw lumabas ulit na kasunduan taht insted 2 years extension ginawa na itong 3 years which ung ( 3 years original contract + 3 years extension) contract...kelan po nagkaroon ng revision ung extension contract na 2 years to 3 years..baguhan lang po kc ang boss namin to handle foreighn
worker in his company...and clarification pa sana, ive heard some hearsay based in hyewa about extesion na 5 years na daw ( example: 3 years original contract + the 3 years extension contract not two years + 2 years agen that this 2 years still on process)...if theres a link regarding this matter. plis pakisend din po and i will give it to my boss for more info......maraming salamat and more Power...FEWA and Sulyapinoy...

ito po ang simplified explanation...

1) EPS first sojourn period is 3-years
2) After your first sojourn has finished, you can be rehired by your current employer for another 3-years... please take note, hindi po extension ang tawag dyan dahil kailangan po ninyong umuwi ng Pinas for a minimum of 1-month bago mabigyan ng new Visa for another 3-years... (at hindi 2-years)
3) Recently, meron bagong panukala ang Labor and Immigration for EPS workers na dagdagan ng 2-years sojourn ang currently 3-years lang to make a total of 5-years sojourn... pero hanggang ngayon hindi pa po approve and implemented... and we don't know yet kung kailan...
