tanong ko lang po? 2 years and 3 months to be exact working here in korea as an EPS, i have working visa going to canada, what will i do to terminate my visa here and is there any violation if ever i terminate my contract coz of my new visa, help naman po

first of all congrats! just approach your "sajangnim" politely and tell him na you will be resigning... sabihin mo lang na uuwi ka sa Pinas for personal reason... huwag mo na nalang sabihin na pupunta ka ng Canada para wala na siyang tatanungin pa... wala po kayong violation dyan... walang connection ang visa mo sa Canada sa visa mo dito sa Korea... ask permission as early as possible para makahanap agad ng kapalit ang amo mo... pwede ka nalang din magrecommend ng kapalit sayo yung nagparelease na EPS pero wala pang malipatan para di na siya maghahanap pa...

misterdj, pano po kung ayaw nyang pumayag at hanapan ako ng plain ticket, meron po ba akong magagawa?
kabayan,
ayon sa labor law, wala pong karapatan ang employer na pigilan ang isang worker na magresign as long as siya ay nagpaalam ng mabuti... per policy pala, dapat 1-month before you leave the company ay magtender kana ng resignation... but in case urgent yung departure mo, request ka nalang sa amo mo...

in case ayaw ka payagan even one month after ka pa aalis, punta ka ng labor office... thanks!
